WHO, 아스트라제네카 임상 일시중단에 "낙담해선 안 돼"

On AstraZeneca's delay of the phase three trial on COVID-19 vaccine,...the World Health Organization said that there’s no need to be “overly discouraged”.
Rather they said it's a wake-up call that vaccine development is not always a fast and a straight road...but safety is of the upmost, highest priority in any clinical trial.
AstraZeneca had already announced that it was pausing stage three human trials after one participant showed signs of a potentially serious adverse reaction.
Despite the delay, however, Brazil is pushing ahead with its contract...buying the vaccine as planned.
Its health ministry has bought 100-million doses of vaccine, of which they say one third will be distributed between December and January of next year.
