A mink with COVID-19 has infected two people in the Netherlands,... in what is probably the first such transmission case since the outbreak started.
The country's agriculture minister said Tuesday that mink carrying the virus were found on four of the 155 farms in the Netherlands.
The minister said animal-to-human transmission outside the farm was "negligible."
The source of infection has been shown to be a sick human.
The nation's health authorities said the mink-to-human transmissions were practically unheard of,... although the original source of infection in China was very likely animals.
