Around one-and-a-half million first to third grade primary school students in South Korea are set to begin their online classes later this morning
This means first graders will be holding their first-day-of-school ceremony online as well.
First and second graders will watch classes aired on the state-run Educational Broadcasting System or EBS as its otherwise known.
The new school year has now officially started for all of South Korea's 5-point-4 million elementary, middle and high school students.
