After four years, Lionel Messi has retaken FIFA's best player of the year award.
The Argentinian forward won the best men's player at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Milan with a total of 46 points, beating Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is the sixth time Messi has been voted the world's best - one more than his rival Ronaldo.
Last year, the 32-year-old helped Barcelona win La Liga and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
He will now go for the renowned Ballon d'Or award,… which will be announced on December 2.
