Sports Minister Park Yang-woo says Seoul is reviewing whether to set up an Olympic training camp in Tokyo due to concerns over radiation.
He told a parliamentary committee earlier today that safety is a top priority, adding the issue will be discussed with local and international sporting bodies.
His remarks came amid fears that Tokyo is planning to serve athletes food from Fukushima - the site of a nuclear disaster.
Several events for next year's Summer Games are also scheduled to be held in the region.
Japanese organizers have dismissed the concerns.
