One of the four major gates in Seoul from the Joseon Dynasty has been restored using digital technology and is now open to the public.
Donuimun Gate, also known as Seodaemun Gate, located in the western part of the city was torn down in 1915 during Japan's colonial rule.
It's restoration had been difficult due to traffic and compensation for the land where the gate stood.
Local officials have now managed to restore it using virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.
People can download a mobile application and see what the gate looked like in the past from multiple angles.
