While the destruction done by Typhoon Lekima was not expected to lead to a nationwide shortage of fish, Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Deputy Minister Sim Tze Tzin said it could cause fish prices to rise if those who suffered a complete loss could not resume their farming and gave up the business.
