Mitsubishi Heavy Industries appears likely to ignore a deadline set by South Korean plaintiffs... to come to the table and discuss compensating the Koreans it used for forced labor during World War Two.
The deadline is today, July 15th,... after which the plaintiffs said they will take action to liquidate Mitsubishi's local assets.
But according to Kyodo News, the company said Sunday that it has no plan to respond to the demand.
Mitsubishi's assets in Korea have already been seized by the South Korean government after the Supreme Court ruled that the company must compensate the forced labor victims.
