U.S. official says one-time solution is what U.S. seeks in denuclearizing N. Korea

A senior U.S. official says finding a one-time solution through negotiation is what the United States seeks to achieve when it comes to North Korea's denuclearization.
According to Voice of America on Friday,... Washington's Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation Christopher Ford made the remark on Wednesday.... at the American Academy for Strategic Education.
He also said this type of solution can be sometimes be generated within the nonproliferation enterprise itself.
He also emphasized the use of experts with experience in negotiations to help eliminate the weapons threat.
The comments come amid a long stalemate between North Korea and the U.S. as they differ on how much the denuclearization process needs to be first agreed and undertaken.
