The Tokyo District Court has ruled against South Koreans who appealed for the removal of their family members from the Yasukuni Shrine... which honors Japan's war dead including some class A war criminals. Tuesday's ruling came five years after the plaintiffs filed the case. The court said it is rejecting all claims, without giving a reason for the decision. The plaintiffs said they cannot accept that the victims of Japanese imperialism are listed at the shrine, adding that they will take the case to a higher court. The names of almost two and half million people are listed at the Yasukuni Shrine... including some twenty-thousand Koreans.
