Gov't offices must file yearly report on number of female board members appointed
  • 5 years ago
Government offices will soon have to file a yearly report stating how many female board members they plan to appoint.
On Tuesday,...the Ministry of Economy and Finance proposed implementing the law... as part of efforts to break the glass ceiling.
The yearly report includes the current gender ratio of board members, the previous year's performances and plans over the next five years to improve gender equality on the board of directors.
The ministry will implement the new law this July,... and the first yearly reports have to be submitted in April next year.
