Blue House, ministerial and Democratic party officials discuss ways to lower burden of Lunar New Year holidays

Starting here in South Korea, senior officials met today from the Blue House, government ministries and the Democratic Party... to discuss several issues, including measures related to the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
It was their first meeting of the year, and the promised to enact measures that will help everyone enjoy the holiday with their loved ones, especially vulnerable groups in society.
They also said they will reduce the holiday's financial burden... by increasing the supply of products in high demand and by providing discounts on transportation and gifts.
The officials also agreed to work together during parliament's extraordinary session in February to pass urgent economy-related bills such as the Fair Trade Act and bills for small businesses owners.
