The nation's Defense chief Jeong Kyeong-doo met with representatives of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Korea, a team comprised of current and former American lawmakers who help keep Congress informed about the alliance. They discussed ways to cooperate on denuclearizing the Peninsula in a peaceful manner. The minister said he expects a meaningful result from a possible second summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump.
