President Moon Jae-in chaired his first cabinet meeting of 2019 on Tuesday, where he stressed each ministry must make a united effort to achieve tangible results.

"I especially want to emphasize such results should not be paper reports, but things people can actually feel in their everyday lives and economic activities."

Asserting the direction of economic reform has been set, President Moon insisted his second economic team must focus on how to move in that direction.
He also noted South Korea is transitioning to a well-off, innovative, and inclusive nation,... while also entering an era of peace on the Korean Peninsula.
President Moon called for better communication and public relations from each ministry to ensure the public can accept the policies and warned against the distribution of fake news.
