Good morning, most regions are waking up to another rainy day... yesterday in fact, western regions were affected by rain that was mixed with yellow dust but this morning air quality has improved.
Rain will let up from the capital area this morning before it clears by the afternoon. But until then, southern regions and Jeju could see 5 to 20 millimeters of rainfall. Rain could come along with strong gusts and lightning in the south.
Temperature-wise, it will be a few notches lower compared to yesterday but it will be quite bearable. However, today's round of showers will bring an icy snap to the country... dropping our temperatures dramatically starting Wednesday.
But for now here are the readings for the day, Seoul and Chuncheon kicking off the day at 8 and 7 degrees, double digits for most parts.
Daily highs in Seoul will be 11 degrees while most regions will see highs in the mid-teens, Busan will be noticeably mild at 18 degrees. Carry an umbrella on your way out.
