Dusty Ipdong, beginning of winter _ 110718

Good morning, today is Ipdong, meaning the onset of winter according to Korean seasonal customs, it would be better have a lot colder clear air but rather we are covered with a thick blanket of toxic smog from China with an ultra fine advisory being in place for many inland regions, including Seoul.
We saw light rain of about 1.5 millimeters in Seoul overnight but it didn't help much to ease the dustiness, western regions will continue to have very high levels of ultra fine dust with low visibility, meanwhile a heavy rain advisory has been issued in parts of Gangwon-do Province.
Temperature readings will be on a milder side, eastern regions will have some light showers with cloudy skies.
Now checking on today's temperatures, the morning lows in Seoul and Chuncheon are at 9 and 8 degrees, the rest are kicking off in double digits.
Most of country will be covered with lots of clouds, some sunshine will be covered with thick blanket of dust in Seoul at a high of 16 degrees. The rest of Korea will be a tad milder.
