Typhoon Kong-rey has left the Korean peninsula...but more rain is forecast in Gangwon-do Province.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says that, as of 12:40 P.M. local time, the typhoon moved off the peninsula and into the East Sea.
Earlier Saturday, it landed in the southern city of Tongyeong in Gyeongsangnam-do Province and passed through Busan.
Typhoon warnings are still in place for Dokdo Island.
