Rescue Operation Launched After People Become Stranded in Texas Floodwater

The Williamson County Sheriff said a rescue operation was launched in Liberty Hill, Texas, in the early hours of September 22, after a number of people became trapped in floodwater.The sheriff’s office said it responded to reports of up to 30 people becoming trapped while trying to flee rising waters.More than 30 roads in Williamson County were closed due to flooding, according to local reports.
