A heavy rainstorm brought severe flooding to the town of Buna in Southeast Texas on May 3, leaving roads and the grounds of a local school submerged.Students at Buna Junior High School were bused out to a nearby church, as the high floodwaters blocked parents from picking up their children.This video was shot by student Jakob Sumrall and shows the extent of the flooding at the school. Sumrall’s mother, Shelley Waldrup, shared it on Facebook. Waldrup told Storyful that the town expected a bigger storm to pass through later the same day.
