Record amounts of rain hit South Florida on June 7 leaving cars stranded in flooded parking lots.The parking lot of the Sawgrass Mills mall was flooded, causing the mall to close for the day.The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for areas in South Florida until 8 p.m. on June 7. Throughout the morning, parts of Florida picked up over 10 inches of rain in just two days time.
