Good morning, it was only a month ago that the Korean peninsula was dealing with an extreme heatwave with highs nearing 40 degrees Celsius even here in the capital, but things are a lot more bearable now...
Even early morning commuters are having hard time waking up early thanks to breezy and comfortable morning lows. Temperatures will continue to hover around the seasonal averages, there will be a big gaps in the temperature readings so dress accordingly.
Expect more sunshine today but those in inland regions will need to watch out for thick fog this morning, lows in Seoul and Gwangju are at 20 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon a bit breezier at 17 degrees.
Daily highs should be similar to yesterday ranging between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius.
Another band of rain is in the forecast for Friday, and after that, it will start to feel more like autumn.
