Good morning, another band of heavy rain soaked most parts of the country overnight with Seoul receiving nearly 35 millimeters. Right now, rain clouds are dropping showers on Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do, downpours of over 50 millimeters of rain per hour.
Heavy rain alerts remain in place in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, but expect to see the rain tapering off as the day goes on.
However, expect more precipitation in the Gyeongsang-do and Jeolla-do regions with lingering showers. Meanwhile, the rest of the country can expect some promising weather conditions under a fair amount of sunshine.
Checking on today's temperatures, a breezy and comfortable morning to start for most parts, Jeju is a bit warm at 25 degrees.
Daily highs should be 3 to 4 degrees higher than Monday, hovering between 29 to 30 degrees Celsius in most regions.
