As we heard there,... the 19th typhoon of the season Soulik is dropping heavy showers on southern Korea right now... and blasting those regions with powerful winds.
For more, let's turn to our Lee Jee-hyun who has a details for us from our weather center.
Jee-hyun,... what can you add to what we heard from Si-young...?

Good morning, Mark. Jeju Island is currently seeing torrential showers and has been since Wednesday afternoon.
The strong, gusty wind is an issue as well.
Jeju is reporting gusts of up to 20 meters per second... powerful enough to uproot trees flip cars... and tear rooves off buildings.
Jeju's Hallasan Mountain has received the heaviest showers so far,... with more than 700 millimeters.

The typhoon continues to slowly move in a northeasterly direction at a speed of 16 kilometers an hour ...after dropping more showers on Jeju, Jeollado Province will start to see torrential downpours. It will hit Seoul by early Friday morning.

So Jeju is the hardest-hit area at the moment, and Soulik will gradually travel in a northeasterly direction, significantly impacting the southwestern city of Gwangju by around 9 PM tonight.
Seoul will see intensely strong winds by around 7AM on Friday morning,.. during the morning commute hours.... so take care driving.

As of right now,... typhoon alerts are in place for Jeju and Korea's southern regions but they will expand to upper regions as the day goes on. Brace yourself for damaging wind and intense showers.

Jeju could possibly see 300 millimeters more rain,... while the Jeollado regions could see 400 millimeters...Seoul will start to see showers in the morning.

Temperatures will go down a few notches with highs ranging from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.

That's all for now, stay safe...back to you Mark in the studio.
