Florida Kids Fish in Flooded Roadway After Heavy Rain

A group of kids decided to fish in the floodwater at their house in Palm City, Florida, on Sunday, May 20, after days of heavy rain lead to street flooding. The kids said they caught a fish, but it snapped off the end of their line.Over a 24-hour period, 1.4 inches of rain fell in Palm City between Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Nearly six inches had fallen in the previous 24 hours, the weather service said.The rain triggered street flooding which forced a number of roads to be closed, according to a local news report said.
