Pope Francis has encouraged multilateral peace talks on the Korean Peninsula,... ahead of the historic summits between the two Koreas and between the U.S. and North Korea.
During his traditional Easter address at St. Peter's Square on Sunday,... the pope voiced hope that the ongoing talks might "advance peace and harmony" and "build relationships of trust within the international community".
The pope also mentioned the suffering of people in war-ravaged Syria and the economic and political crisis in Venezuela.
