Ingredients:- 3 tsp. Oil 1 Onion, sliced 3 tbsp. Fresh coconut, grated 1 tsp. Ginger-garlic paste Coriander leaves 150 gms. Black Bengal Gram (Soak in water overnight and drain. Add fresh water and salt and pressure cook for 4 whistles.) 1 tbsp. Mix masala Salt to taste
Method:- - In a pan heat oil and roast onion and grated coconut in it until brown. - Grind the roasted mixture in the grinder with water to form a coarse paste. - In another pan, heat 2 tsp. Oil and saute ginger-garlic paste and coriander leaves in it. - Add Black Bengal Gram, Mix masala, salt, onion-coconut paste and mix thoroughly. - Cover with a lid and cook for a while. - Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with Amboli.
