Istanbul was swamped on July 27 after torrential rainfall hit the city, submerging vehicles in pools and leaving walkways drenched with rainwater.This footage shows the area under a bridge in Western Istanbul flooded with debris. A bus can be seen stuck in the water, and in a second video that the uploader poster, people are seen trying to escape from their flooded cars.Sozcu reported that the rain had disrupted tram services traffic , while images published on Internet Haber showed trapped locals sitting on their flooded cars or swimming through makeshift lakes created by the rain.
