NEW YORK — A 20-year-old man was shot Sunday evening while trying to hold up three undercover detectives in Brooklyn with a BB Gun, reported NBC New York

According to CBS New York, a woman arranged to view an apartment via Craigslist, but was instead robbed by three males. Later, she reported the incident to police, who in turn, arranged a similar meet up with the suspects.

At the meeting, a 20-year-old brandished a BB gun, prompting an undercover detective, to open fire, shooting the man in the right arm and torso, reported NBC New York. He is in hospital in stable condition.

A 16-year-old suspect was also detained while the other is still at large. It's unclear if they are connected to the earlier robbery, reported CBS New York.
