Packed with good energy and nutrients, carrots are always good for growing children. Here we bring you a easy and quick way to feed your kid with carrots by way of carrot paratha.
Ingredients
100 gm (3/4 cup) whole wheat flour 1/4 tsp red chili powder ¼ tsp ajwain ¼ tsp cumin seed powder ¼ black til ½ tsp salt 1 carrot grated 1/3 cup water 1 tsp oil or ghee extra oil or ghee for cooking the parathas
Method:
- In a bowl put in the flour, red chili powder, ajwain, cumin seed powder, til, salt and mix well. Put in the salt and mix again. Pour in the the water and make a soft dough. Keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes. - Divide the dough into 6 small balls. Roll the dough into 3†circles and cook on a hot griddle on both sides, until the parathas are golden brown. - Serve hot with pickle or tomato sauce.
