Nearly 100,000 residences were damaged or completely destroyed during Israel's incursion into the Gaza Strip last summer, and while funding to rebuild has been promised, the world economic situation and Israel's economic blockade has left Gazans unable to rebuild as they wait for an influx of promised capital during an extraordinarily cold winter.
