00:08:31As a second part of this week's challenge, you must design and create an original demon-themed look and model it on the main stage during the floor show.
00:08:42You can take your demonic design in any direction you choose, but we want to see your unique style of drag present in the final product.

00:09:41So it's going to be your job to give us the biggest, most chunky glittered rainbow layered eyebrows that the world has ever seen.
00:09:51We want full rainbow caterpillar from hell realness.
00:09:57Remember my perverted little parishioners, this is a hell of a challenge, and while the prize may be heavenly, the punishment should you fail, will see you cast into a pit of eternal darkness where you may never catch your breath.

00:21:14So today is the day for the demonic floor show, and I'll be applying my critiques from
00:21:32last week.
00:21:33I'm going to give them filth.
00:21:34I'm going to give them horror.
00:21:35But I'm still going to give them titties.

00:21:38I wish it was a little bit more campy, but I guess I can get into a serious Oscar moment.
00:21:43I can see why the campy reading wasn't the best option, but that's what I wanted to do.

00:22:29So in addition to doing our acting challenge this week, we also have to present a demon runway.
00:22:45So my inspiration is going to be this really nasty blood demon.
00:22:50So right now I'm just pre-painting these little prosthetics.
00:22:54So attaching this to my body, it's rather simple actually.
00:22:59This is just foam latex.
00:23:00So I'm just going to use like a water-based piece of like pros aid.
00:23:03You can just apply it on this side, apply it to the face.
00:23:06And it's all about just getting those paper thin edges to blend into the skin nicely.
00:23:11So it looks for a seamless look.
00:23:14So my demonic floor show, I decided to go a little bit of a different route.
00:23:18Like I'm saying like my whole character is based around religion almost.
00:23:22So I decided to do the highest demon of them all, an angel.
00:23:26And as far as Peaches' notes, I received them really well.
00:23:29I need to somber up my performance and make it more believable.
00:23:32I'm a mom and my child is possessed.
00:23:35For my demonic look, I was going for more of a drag king look.
00:23:39So this is going to be a business savvy demon that's going to sweet talk you into selling souls to him.
00:23:44But it's going to fuck you over at the end.
00:23:46I'm working on a prosthetic right now.
00:23:47It's made out of foam clay and liquid latex and I just build texture onto it.
00:23:52It's going to be this eye enlargement that's going to look very gross.
00:23:55I added all these teeth to it and alcohol paint to make it look all grimy.
00:24:00And I also have a middle finger casted and multiplied to have as a horn.
00:24:06I'm going to be flipping all these bitches from all different directions on my forehead.
00:24:10So yeah, that's the mood.
00:24:12My demon was inspired by plastic surgery and sex, which both of them I love.
00:24:17So yeah, I'm just creating a new silhouette, bringing Tabuleta to another level and I love it.
00:24:23I don't follow rules, but when it comes to theater or dance, you have to listen to the critics in order to make it better.
00:24:30So they don't want me to go full yas, mama god.
00:24:34So I have to incorporate that and listen and still be the star, but listening to the critics.
00:24:41Because teamwork makes the dream work.
00:24:43I wanted to do something biblical, like ancient.
00:24:47So I'm going in kind of more of like a Lilith direction.
00:24:50She guards the gates of hell and so do I.
00:24:53Anything bad that can go wrong with childbirth and with kids is always blamed on women.
00:25:00And so inherently, it turned out to be the number one trait in all female monsters.
00:25:06And being so womanly myself, how could I not?
00:25:10So in the acting challenge, I have a total of four lines, but I also have a very emotive face.
00:25:16And so I'm going to be doing a lot of reacting, lots of like body language.
00:25:21And I'm really going to try to focus on pulling all of the attention to me silently.
00:25:26Yeah, because there are no small parts, only small actors.

00:41:33Each one of them has something new and unique that they could bring to the Dragula family.
00:41:39And it's just getting so hard.
00:41:43I wish we had a little more time with all of them.

00:41:47But I will say one thing in particular.

00:41:50I cannot get her to understand this critique about her performance in the show.
00:41:56Every single judge that has been in this booth this season has given her the same note.
00:42:02You are screaming at the choir because I've told her half a dozen times, like, you look immaculate.
00:42:06Your ideas are very fashion-forward.
00:42:09You need to give us some energy.
00:42:11And, you know, I think it's interesting the idea of having a competitor who goes on to the top three and potentially wins that maybe isn't, like, a shablam queen.
00:42:20Maybe she's a little quieter and a little more artistic and she has a really unique perspective.

00:43:03What we are judging you on is your drag as it relates to this competition and the challenges that we have put before you.
00:43:09Tonight, we will be judging your performance skills in our Exorcist's short film as well as your individual demon-themed floor shows.
00:43:16The judges would like to offer you some critique and we're going to start with Dali.
00:43:20You took direction pretty well. I think you did a pretty good job. My complaint with you is that you chose to keep your face white.
00:43:28I can see how maybe you are trying to stay on brand, but this might be a challenge where staying on brand would be a mistake because it set a tone for the whole scene that was outlandish from the start.
00:43:39It would be hard to pull the whole thing back to make it serious because of that.
00:43:43As far as the acting challenge, I wanted you to listen. Part of acting is being able to be a part of the scene even when it's not your line and I saw you thinking a little bit.
00:43:52I would have much rather seen the character in action reacting to what was going on.
00:43:57I wanted to see more vulnerability as a mother who was losing a child. As far as the floor show goes, I thought you had a really good start.
00:44:06You had your movements down, but then you didn't have anywhere else to go and I really wanted you to sort of build on that.
00:44:11So I kind of love this character tonight. I imagine that torment is your currency and everyone is paying.
00:44:17I feel like this is similar to some of the other looks that we've seen. I know this lives in your world.
00:44:22It would just be exciting to see something wildly different. I know that you can do it, but I want everyone to see that you can do it.
00:44:28Okay. Um, what's that feeling when like all hope is lost? Hopeless, embarrassed, completely disintegrated because I feel like I just have no room for error at this point. It's too close.
00:44:41Sigourney. Honestly, you did steal the show in the acting challenge. I was really impressed.
00:44:46I know what it is to have a small part and to make the absolute most of it and you did that. You trusted your comedic instincts and it sounds like you were told to maybe tone down the camp a little bit.
00:44:55I was a fan of the camp that you did bring to it.
00:44:58I saw you in your head for the first time tonight on stage when things weren't going exactly as planned, which I hate to see, but it happens to everybody.
00:45:05And I like that you took our notes on asking you to become more filthy, but I still think you could have pushed it a little further.
00:45:11Lord knows I love a gimmick. I love a prop, but you can't get lost in it. I wanted you to let go of those babies and show us the monster that you are. Don't let them run you. You run them.
00:45:24As far as this look tonight, you did serve us filth. You're outside of the glamour box and I appreciate it. It is desperately simple though. When I think about $100,000 and the fact that there are only five of you, to choose something so stripped of detail and to be so simple, it's very risky.
00:45:40Sigourney is definitely showing us filth, but also she's showing us a piece of fabric wrapped around her waist.
00:45:45I know that this was a very simple outfit. They didn't say it was just a piece of fabric. It was Hoso that said that because she was fucking jealous.
00:45:52Let's talk about Zavaleva. As far as the acting challenge goes, I thought you did a really great job. If there was a reboot, I would definitely cast you as the priest.
00:46:02You had this like Boy George vibe and I felt like you really brought a lot to the table. I thought it was great. Thank you.
00:46:07Floor show wise, I think this is the first time I've seen fear in your eyes on stage. Things were malfunctioning and coming apart and I hate that, but it did happen. It just wasn't your best stage performance, I suppose.
00:46:22The way I saw it is, you decided these got to go. I don't know if they were like holding you down or not, so you just decided to destroy them and I was lost in the story of your character. It was a little confusing.
00:46:33I wasn't born an angel because my fucking weeks broke. Like, I had to act something. I had to pull it out of my ass.
00:46:41One fell down, I had to continue and I'm not gonna just stop and freeze. I have to continue, run, run, run because it's a performance.
00:46:49You're a great performer and you rolled with it. It just confused the story for us as judges.
00:46:54In the acting challenge and here on the floor, you have the magnetism. You take up the space. You don't have to push it to an 11.
00:47:02to get us to believe that you're an amazing performer.

00:47:10Oh God, that voice. I'm so glad that they gave you the note to not do that voice, even though it was funny.
00:47:15I think the performance that you ended up giving was quieter and better. Your look is just deadly.
00:47:22It was a thought-provoking idea to go in this direction and I think it was smart.
00:47:27You had one shot with that vomit take and you nailed it.
00:47:32That's key on a horror set. You want to get that in a one and done because there's no time to clean it up.
00:47:36So good job doing that. I love this look. I thought it was beautiful, but I wanted there to be a couple more heartbeats
00:47:44because I feel like it fell a little short and plateaued because I got the softness.
00:47:49But I wanted to feel the blood pumping just a little bit more.
00:47:53I want to echo that. I don't want you to get aggravated with us giving you the note
00:47:58because the thing is, if you don't hear from us, you're going to hear it when the show comes out.
00:48:03And we don't want you to come out here and shablam all over the stage. Doesn't make sense for you. It won't work.
00:48:07But we do want to encourage you to push, push, push, and hopefully very soon
00:48:12because nobody knows what's going to happen over the next few episodes.
00:48:16I'm going to talk about your performance in the short. I think you were great.
00:48:21And I was like, this is a character that I feel like I could see getting murdered in a horror movie.
00:48:26You were listening to everything that was going on. You did have a perfect horror film reaction to the goop coming at you.
00:48:34And I think that you did a wonderful job there. When you're in those situations, that's what you want to do.
00:48:38You want to let go. And I kind of wish I saw a bit more of that freedom on the floor show that you kind of had when you got vomited on.
00:48:45Hoso. I really love this character. It was so imaginative and so, like, wacky and fun.
00:48:52This is Beelzebub crossed with Beetlejuice. You showed us something different and that's very exciting. I want to see a range.
00:48:58And in the acting challenge, I think that you did steal the show a little bit.
00:49:02I would have liked to see you maybe put a little more characterization in it to reinvent the character.
00:49:06Because that role is Dragula 101. Like, any of us can get up there and roll around and puke and act crazy because that's, like, what we're made to do.
00:49:13But overall, yeah, I think you did a good job in the floor show and in the acting challenge.
00:49:18I really love the attention to detail with the teeth and the prosthetic.
00:49:21I mean, it really completed the whole look for me.
00:49:23As far as the challenge goes, I thought you did a great job, but it's an easy role.
00:49:27You really needed to bring something new to it and that was the only part where you kind of, like, left something out for me.
00:49:32I stayed too close to the original. I agree.
00:49:34I am going to disagree.
00:49:36Yes, it's an easy role. It's the starring role.
00:49:39But you did something that if I was a casting director, I would call you back for.
00:49:42You changed tactics. There was a moment when the demon decided that the way to get what they wanted was to be nice and sweet and the daughter again.
00:49:50And that is horror film acting. That was wonderful.
00:49:54This look is fully realized. If anybody's going to take notes on how to use a prop, that's how you use a prop.
00:49:59It was part of your story. It did not overpower you and we got a payoff with the key turn.
00:50:04So, bravo. Very well done.

00:53:53But then to do this competition and to present my art and where I'm from and my heart and soul and it being immortalized, if I drop dead, I'll be happy.
00:54:03I learned so much about how I process fear and process pain in my mind throughout chemotherapy and it's made me into a fearless person. It is reason why I am the artist and the person that I am today.
00:54:14I love Hoso. She has gone through shit. So for her to realize what life is, being that age, it's just incredible. I have respect for Hoso. Live your life to the fullest.
