35:31But the thing is, it's like Dragula requires a certain set of skills
35:36and a certain style that maybe not all of them have at this point.
35:40But also like a certain amount of ferocity and focus.

35:43And that's why they need our special brand of love tonight,
35:46because the race isn't over,
35:47and there may be a few people that are lagging in the competition,
35:50and we can give them the tough love that they need.
35:52Jade is still in the background a little bit, to be honest with you.
35:57But tonight was good for her.
35:58I thought that she made a lot of really smart decisions.
36:00I don't think tonight was her worst night by any means.
36:02No, no, I'm looking at like the bigger picture, you know?

37:28This challenge had an added layer of intensity
37:30as you are performing to our newest song, Wicked Love.
37:34And to mess that up would have catastrophic consequences.
37:38With that being said, Jade, please step forward.
37:45This week, you found the key of life and death.
37:49This gives you the power to save yourself
37:51or put one of your fellow competitors up for extermination.
37:57Jade, how do you wish to use the key's power?
38:01I came in today kind of going back and forth.
38:06I thought I had made a decision.
38:08And sometimes people think that I'm not a player
38:11and I can't make strong decisions.
38:12But I think that I'm standing up here amongst incredible people
38:16who are working very, very hard.
38:18And the only person that I think is coasting along currently
38:20is Betty.
38:22So I would like to put her up for extermination.
38:28Betty, due to the key, you are up for extermination tonight.

38:39but kudos to her for finally being a real bitch.
38:42I honestly felt that Betty was going to be in the bottom regardless.

39:13What I love about this look is that
39:15where other contestants went for passengers,
39:18you went for a member of the crew.
39:19The silhouette of that outfit is very striking to me,
39:22and your movement reminded me of the German silent horror films,
39:25Caligari, Nosferatu.
39:26That stuff was very cool.
39:27This look is giving me all of the fabulous fashions
39:30from Seven Fathoms Down.
39:32There's so much going on from the cut of the coat,
39:34the high waist, all of the buttons,
39:36this dramatic hip.
39:37I would still like to see a little bit more expression
39:39in your movement.
39:40You hit some of those dramatic notes,
39:42but not all of them.
39:43I find it a little hard to see your facial expressions
39:46from behind your wig,
39:47and I know there's a lot going on there,
39:48so it's a shame to hide it.
39:50As beautiful as the look is,
39:51I have an issue with the shoes.
39:53I don't like the shoes at all.
39:55As far as the performance goes,
39:57I could get a little more energy from you
39:59than maybe as your Achilles heel in a way,
40:02but I think you did a good job of the lip sync,
40:04and it was moody,
40:05so I appreciated that you stayed
40:06in the correct tone for it,
40:08maybe just up a notch or two.
40:11Moving on to Hoso.
40:12When I first saw you,
40:14I was a little confused,
40:15but your performance,
40:17you committed 100% to the character
40:20that you portrayed.
40:21For me, that's the most important thing.
40:22I really enjoyed it.
40:24There wasn't a lot of glamour here,
40:26and this is a ghost ship glamour challenge.
40:29I can understand different cultural sensibilities.
40:31That's something that I can appreciate,
40:32but I think as far as the glamour portion
40:34of tonight's criteria,
40:36it's a miss for me.
40:37What I was really taken with
40:39was that it was a narrative,
40:40that you were telling a story,
40:41and the emotion of this story,
40:42there was pain and there was struggle.
40:44That was really compelling.
40:45I do have to agree,
40:47if glamour was the marching orders,
40:49you went another way.
40:50So, Hoso, talk to me about
40:52how you feel you addressed glamour in this look.
40:55I feel the most glamorous
40:56I've been in this whole competition.
40:58I tried to portray
40:59this godly, spiritual being,
41:02and I think this gown
41:03just represents it so well,
41:05and I feel fucking glamorous.

41:08I like the inspiration as well,
41:10and I like that you're owning it,

41:14the literal glamour

43:34I love the way
43:35you made monochromatic choices here.

43:43where you took your pearls off

43:47I was hoping they would tear

44:14When you're doing the body makeup,
44:15the details are in like
44:16behind the arms
44:17or when your gloves move.
44:19In the gag of like
44:19ripping off the pearls,
44:21what it revealed was like
44:22a flaw in the makeup application.
44:23It had like come away.
44:24And it rubbed it off.
44:25Just those small things
44:26really matter at this stage
44:28because there are six
44:29very hungry sharks in the water
44:30fighting to be out in front.
44:32So those little mistakes do count.
