We speak to Glaswegians on the changing face of the High Street.
Transcript
00:00Well, I come from Paisley and I think we've lost a lot of just shops that you find in Glasgow.
00:09So the only thing that's really left in Paisley now is charity shops, cafes and betting shops.
00:16So if you're looking for like gents tailors or gents clothing shops, you've got to come into Glasgow.
00:21So no particular store in particular, but just the type of shops that you get now, you've got to come into Glasgow for it.
00:33Yeah, a lot of shops have disappeared over time, but...
00:36Paisley used to have a great town centre and it's totally been done away with.
00:44I think the town council have made a lot of mistakes.
00:46It's the pedestrianised area, which meant you couldn't drive into it.
00:52So now you're driving like half a mile away and then you've got to walk.
00:56I don't think I missed anything. That's... yeah, I don't know.
