Final preparations were underway in Rome's Tor Vergata on Monday, July 28, where over 500,000 young Catholics from 146 countries will attend the two biggest events of the upcoming Youth Jubilee.

The Vatican and Italian authorities deployed a major security and logistical operation in the Tor Vergata area southeast of the capital.

The Youth Jubilee events will take place from July 29 to August 3 and include two key moments with Pope Leo XIV leading evening vigil on Saturday, August 2, and a morning Mass on Sunday, August 3.
