Operation Mahadev - జమ్మూకశ్మీర్‌లో భీకర ఎన్‌కౌంటర్‌ జరుగుతోంది. శ్రీనగర్‌లోని దాచిగమ్‌ నేషనల్‌ పార్క్‌ సమీపంలో భద్రతా బలగాలు, ఉగ్రవాదుల మధ్య ఎదురుకాల్పులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఆపరేషన్‌ మహదేవ్‌ పేరుతో జమ్మూకశ్మీర్‌ పోలీసులు, భారత సైన్యం, సీఆర్పీఎఫ్‌ సంయుక్తంగా ఈ ఆపరేషన్‌ చేపట్టింది. హర్వాన్‌ ప్రాంతంలో ఉగ్రవాదులు నక్కినట్లు నిఘా వర్గాల సమాచారంతో నెల రోజుల నుంచి గాలింపు చేపట్టారు. చివరకు సోమవారం ఉదయం దాచిగమ్‌ అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో గాలింపు చర్యలు చేపడుతుండగా.. భద్రతా దళాల పైకి ఉగ్రవాదులు కాల్పులు జరిపారు. ఈ ఆపరేషన్‌లో ఇప్పటివరకు ముగ్గురు ఉగ్రవాదులను మట్టుబెట్టినట్లు చినార్‌ కోర్‌ వెల్లడించింది. వీరు పహల్గాం దాడికి పాల్పడిన ఉగ్రవాదులని ప్రచారం జరుగుతోంది. దీనిపై చినార్‌ కోర్‌ ఇప్పటివరకు ఎలాంటి ప్రకటన చేయలేదు.

Security forces are engaged in heavy exchange of fire with terrorists as part of Operation Mahadev, a joint mission launched by the J&K Police, Indian Army, and CRPF.
Based on intel from surveillance agencies, terrorists were suspected to be hiding in the Harwan area, leading to a month long search operation. Finally, on Monday morning, as the forces carried out a combing operation in the Dachigam forest zone, terrorists opened fire on them.
In retaliation, security forces neutralized three terrorists so far, according to a statement from the Chinar Corps. Reports suggest that these militants may have been involved in the Pahalgam attack, though the Chinar Corps has not officially confirmed this link yet.
