Devotees have been protesting for the past few days over the demolition of the old Peddamma temple in Banjara Hills, MLA Colony. The devotees are questioning what is wrong with having a temple on government land. They say that government land was occupied and houses were built. They want them to be demolished. They have demanded that the Peddamma temple be constructed immediately. Meanwhile, BJP and Hindu groups are protesting over the demolition of the temple here. They are demanding that the temple be constructed on the land.
