Hyderabad, June 20, 2025 (ANI): On protection of Bhadrachalam Temple and surrounding areas, Member of Legislative Council, BRS, K Kavitha said, "After Telangana state division in the Parliament, later on, almost seven revenue Mandals were forcibly merged with Andhra Pradesh by an ordinance in 2014. Since that day, we have been fighting for it. The temple town of Bhadrachalam, where five villages have been merged with Andhra Pradesh, while the entire town is in Telangana. These villages are facing many day-to-day issues. They have given us resolutions from Gram Panchayats to be merged with Telangana. We demand that CM Revanth Reddy to take up this issue."

00:15Since that day till now we've been fighting for it.
00:17But particularly now Badrachalam is a Bhagwan Sri Ramji's temple town where five villages have been merged with Andhra.
00:24The entire temple town is in Telangana so there are many day to day issues that these villages are facing.
00:31And these five villages have already given us resolutions from their Gram Panchayats asking them to be merged with Telangana.
00:39So we are demanding that these five villages be re-merged with Telangana.
00:44To that extent 25th of this month there is a meeting of Honorable Sri Narendra Modiji and four state's chief ministers.
00:50In that particular meeting we hope this issue comes up.
00:54We are demanding Revant Redigaru to take up this issue and help these five villages.
