Basti, UP – A retired officer, upset over frequent power cuts, called a local electricity department official to register a complaint. Instead of addressing the issue, the officer asked him to call the 1912 helpline.
When the complainant identified himself as a retired officer, the official responded arrogantly, boasting about his connections with top leaders including Union Minister SP Singh Baghel, former Governor Baby Rani Maurya, Raj Babbar, and Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman.
The audio of this exchange has now been made public by UP’s Power Minister AK Sharma, drawing sharp criticism for the officer's conduct.
