00:00And it's lights out, away we go, Sebastian Vettel gets the better start, and towards turn one they head now, with Kimi Räikkönen and Max Verstappen justling, and Vettel on the inside, getting past Valtteri Bottas, there's lockups behind, but they all seem to get through the first corner okay, Sebastian Vettel leaves Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Räikkönen and Max Verstappen, and Fernando Alonso, and there's Daniel Ricciardo, spinning out towards the back, getting caught up through the center-esses, down the retro-aposta now, to Deschino do Largo, Vettel leaves for Bottas.
00:30And Esteban Ocon and Romain Grosjean collide, and it's that Ocon out of the race, after 27 consecutive finishes, Esteban Ocon is out.
00:43Oh, so Grosjean got a dollop of oversteer in the middle of the corner, and straight into the side of the Force India.
00:52And that is Esteban Ocon trying to make his way back, look for all intents and purposes that he was out of the race.
00:58Because I'd rather get the feeling he is, Marti, he's not going to get that back.
01:03No, I'm not sure I can drive back.
01:07Stoffel van Doorn is out, and Kevin Magnussen out as well.
01:13We can look at the start once again.
01:15Well, that was interesting, because from that angle, Bottas got the better start, but in the second phase, when he got to release that second clutch, it was the Ferrari that accelerated better, but Bottas actually got away on that camera angle.
01:28And at the back there, so we see Ricciardo going around the outside.
01:32No, Ricciardo dropped it on the curve.
01:34But we're about to find out if I'm right or not.
01:37But Van Doorn's gone right down the middle, very nicely indeed.
01:41Hi, God. Hi, God, squeeze.
01:44Copy. Is the car OK?
01:45Oh, he did. He did hit him, so it was wrong.
01:47And all the way up that straight towards the first corner, and there are possibilities for overtaking here, Martin.
01:55No DRS yet for a couple of laps, of course, but he was trying to back the Mercedes into his teammate, hoping that Raikkonen might get a slipstream on him and get a chance for a Ferrari 1-2.
02:04Well, Raikkonen might be gaining, but certainly behind Felipe Massa is gaining on Fernando Alonso, and this time Felipe is faster than you, Fernando, and he makes his move up into fifth place.
02:15Sebastian Vettel leads.
02:19Watch Hamilton for a moment. He's on Pierre Gasly's tail, and he went around the inside of Ericsson.
02:25He's gone around the outside of Gasly. Hamilton into the points at the start of lap nine.
02:33There goes Daniel Ricciardo, late on the brakes on the Williams.
02:36Locks up a little going into turn one.
02:38It's another trademark Ricciardo move, this time on Lance Stroll.
02:42And the Australian has put that Red Bull up in the 13th, whilst Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, is now up past Nico Hülkenberg and into eighth.
02:51And Ricciardo's not stopping there.
02:53He's got the Sauber alongside him and now behind him.
02:56Ericsson is past Ricciardo's 12th.
02:59Valtteri Bottas now pits.
03:02Kimi Raikkonen moves up into second place.
03:05And a nice swift change by the Mercedes crew.
03:07And coming into the pit, Sebastian Vettel.
03:14Paul de Resta, should this man have come in before Valtteri Bottas?
03:18You have to play it safe when you're standing there.
03:21And I think Ferrari should have pitted before them.
03:23They have to just stop.
03:24They can control the race.
03:25But to lose out for that, it's going to be very, very close.
03:28And onto the track comes Vettel, just a few car lengths ahead of the Mercedes, when at one stage he was one and a half seconds ahead.
03:36Had they been caught napping in this race?
03:38And while all that was happening, Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez.
03:47Perez knew he was coming.
03:48He couldn't do anything about it.
03:54So Hamilton now comes in to make his one and only change.
04:04Verstappen covers off the inside.
04:05He's going to force Hamilton the long way round, and he forces Hamilton into a place where the world champion didn't feel that he could overtake.
04:13But now, through the Sennaresses and onto the Resta ripostor, can Hamilton use DRS once again to blast past the Red Bullies alongside and he's ahead.
04:23So it cost him two or three more corners, but eventually Hamilton did get past Verstappen.
04:28He's in DRS range.
04:30He's going to have a little go, is he?
04:31No, not into turn one, locks up his tyres into the bargain as well, and then loses a bit of momentum.
04:38Dropping down the hill through the Sennaresses, and that'll cost him at the end of the next straight.
04:42He's got another lap to do now before he can pass him.
04:45Indeed, he does pass him.
04:46What's happened here to Lance Stroll?
04:50The front tyre delaminating.
04:52Whoa, the tyres.
04:54Something's on the tyre.
04:55It's Sebastian Vettel who'd only won one of the last 12 Grand Prix before he came to Interlagos, but to Brazil he came, and he is going to pick up his third win at this track.
05:08It's Sebastian Vettel who wins the Brazilian Grand Prix.
05:12Bottas comes home for second.
05:14Behind them, Kimi Räikkönen and Lewis Hamilton from the pit lane, completing the top four.
05:25And it's Alonso behind Massa.
05:28You'll hear the noise.
05:30You'll feel the noise as across the line, Felipe Massa completes his final Brazilian Grand Prix, and he does hold off.
05:38Fernando Alonso, who just holds off Sergio Perez, and after the chequered flag, too late for Alonso.
05:46He does get past the Williams, but what a great duel that was.
05:56Smiles and celebrations for the Scuderia.
06:01Victory here at Interlagos.
06:05Sebastian Vettel winning for the first time since Hungary.
06:11It's time for the Samba Beats.
