00:00The WHO is weighing in. It says its facilities are now under attack, and this is confirmed.
00:06We have heard Hamas echo this before, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears previously.
00:11But a statement like this coming from the WHO, is that likely to make people pay attention, do you think?
00:16Well, one might hope so, but perhaps not, because the WHO have made quite a few statements
00:22that have been pretty critical of Israel in the last 20 or so months.
00:26And they haven't really moved the dial so much.
00:30I do think it's changing a little bit now because it seems like the WHO, which is a UN-backed agency,
00:37a UN agency, I should say, are claiming to be directly attacked themselves.
00:43And I think if these attacks become more severe in the coming days,
00:48there's a sort of bubbling climate of international condemnation.
00:52We're seeing various countries doing it.
00:54We saw 25 countries do it yesterday, just saying that a ceasefire needs to happen now
01:01and that Israel's behaviour is unacceptable.
01:05The real country that will make a difference is Donald Trump's America,
01:10and we are yet to see whether they will unequivocally intervene or condemn Israel.
01:18It sounds as though Donald Trump is unhappy with Netanyahu,
01:23but that doesn't necessarily mean the US will intervene.
01:27But without a US intervention, a substantial one,
01:31I don't see how Israel is stopped from doing what it wants to do.
