00:00Cleveland beat the Orioles 10-5. We rang the bell with Jose Ramirez.
00:04Unfortunately, the call was awful. So instead, we give you the go-ahead homer by Kyle Manzaro
00:10on Guardians TV. To give them a chance to rally. Now Kyle Manzaro
00:15clobbers into deep right field. Gone! And the Guardians go ahead 6-5.
00:23There you go. The Guardians who the POTUS wants them to change their name back to the Indians.
00:30I'm getting very involved in these sporting teams and these sports teams changing their names back.
00:37It's become a point of emphasis for him recently.
00:42Isn't there something better to do with your time?
00:47You know, I mean, there's a few things going on. There's no doubt about that.
00:51But I don't think that these teams are going to go backwards on.
00:56Let's walk the ankles. Maybe get that surgically repaired. You know what I mean?
01:00Yeah, he's got that cooking.
01:02Padres beat the Marlins 2-1.
01:05Padres are now 31-9 against teams under .500.
01:09That's the best record in baseball with that. So they have feasted on the bad teams.
01:13So, like, here's a tip for you. Whenever they play a team under .500, bet on them.
01:22Because they win 90% of the games. Whenever they play a team over .500, that's when they lose.
01:29So whenever they're playing bad teams, bet on the Padres. I mean, it works every time.
01:34I mean, 60% of the time, it works 100% of the time.
01:38But doing the quick math here, and we're going to try to do this as fast as we possibly can,
01:43that would mean that they are 24-36 against teams with good records.
01:51Teams that are over .500. 24-36.
01:54So they are 11 games under in those situations, whereas 31-9 against a really bad team.
02:00So, like you said, keep that in mind.
02:02So tonight, they're playing a team with a losing record.
02:06So what you do is you bet on them.
02:09That's it. That's what you got to do.
02:11Xander Bogarts, the last 25 games from .382, 10-23 OPS, three homers, seven doubles.
02:18Might be the first good stretch he's had since he signed with the Padres a few years ago.
02:22He's done nothing for them.
02:24Zero. So nice to see Xander Bogarts getting off the deck.
02:28And in the losing effort, this Stowers just doesn't stop.
02:33He homered again last night, six times in the last five games.
02:36That's a Marlins record.
02:38We love Stowers.
02:39You're going to put him on the tater-like menu?
02:41I mean, what is happening here?
02:42I kind of got to the point now where it's like, I think he could tonight, absolutely.
02:49I'm almost playing the percentages that he can't homer every single night.
02:53But he does.
02:55Meanwhile, he does.
02:56And now it's gone so long that I know if I jump in, he's not gonna.
03:02You know, that's kind of how it starts.
03:04Now you think it has something to do with you.
03:06I don't agree with that.
03:08I think that he'll hit a homer for us.
