00:00The National League MVP of two seasons ago in 2023, Ronald Acuna Jr. is back.

00:06He will represent the Braves in the All-Star Game as a starter and in the Home Run Derby on Monday in his home ballpark.

00:14But yesterday out in Sacramento, Acuna Jr.

00:19Two home runs yesterday, DRS for Atlanta.

00:22They finally get to the 40-win benchmark as they hammer the Athletics 9-2.

00:27They got hammered the day prior by the A's.

00:32So a big win for the Braves.

00:33But as you see there, despite being an ever-so-slight road favorite, Atlanta still 11 games, sub-500.

00:39Yeah, got five total home runs yesterday for the Atlanta Braves.

00:42That's what happens in that small ballpark there in Sacramento.

00:45There's no doubt about it because you take a look, they scored nine runs.

00:48And they were only two of four with runners in scoring position.

00:50And only the five runners on base, man.

00:52You hit home runs, guys are clearing the bases here.

00:54And you don't have to be with runners in scoring position.

00:56But that's good for the Atlanta Braves.

00:57They needed that win in the absolute worst way.

01:00And they got it.

01:01And Acuna back in the lineup.

01:02So maybe tweaking that back in the locker room, or should I say in the weight room.

01:06Maybe it's not that big of a deal, man.

01:07He was corking yesterday, man.

01:10Yes, he certainly was.

01:11DRS, the Yankees have been corking as of late as well.

01:14They're opening two games in the Bronx of their midweek set against the Seattle Mariners.

01:38Like, you take Jazz Chisholm on a day-to-day basis.

01:42Don't get multiple base hits here.

01:43Just take him to get a home run because that's what he swings for.

01:45And rightfully so.

01:46That guy can absolutely lay waste to that small right-field porch out there and certainly

01:51did that yesterday.

01:52Another nine spot for the Yankees.

01:54Like to see it, as Aaron Judge hangs around 360 still here with his batting average.

01:59No home runs for either the captain, number 99 in pinstripes or big dumper.

02:03But Aaron Judge, a couple of RBIs on a double late in the game.
