Bull Durham is a romantic comedy-drama that follows the story of the Durham Bulls, a minor league baseball team. The team's resident groupie, Annie Savoy, selects a new player each season to mentor and romance. This season, she chooses Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh, a talented but immature rookie pitcher. However, her attention is diverted when Crash Davis, a veteran catcher, joins the team to teach Nuke discipline and maturity. As Crash and Annie grow closer, they must navigate their feelings amidst the backdrop of minor league baseball.
