"Young Adam" is a 2003 British erotic drama film directed by David Mackenzie, based on the 1954 novel of the same name by Alexander Trocchi. The movie follows Joe Taylor, a young drifter played by Ewan McGregor, who works on a barge owned by Les and his wife Ella, portrayed by Peter Mullan and Tilda Swinton, respectively.
