00:00Slightly high there, so any punches here will be legal, anything just on this, okay?
00:05Know the rules, obey my commands at all times, defend yourselves at all times.
00:08God bless Touch Gloves.
00:10Very important heavyweight meeting, just under the highest echelons on this glorious setting under the Wembley Arch tonight.
00:21London's Laurence Acoli, the former World Cruiserweight and Bridgeweight Champion,
00:26test deeper waters against the current WBC Bridgeweight Ruler.
00:32And like Acoli, the heavyweight hunter in Kevin Lorena, who's a very, very quick starter.
00:40And we remember, Barry, when he had Daniel Dubois down three times in that opener at Spurs.
00:45He did, though, but this stuff again couldn't finish it.
00:47And that's another point we have to think of as well.
00:49But I think he has to make a dent in Acoli as soon as he can, he would feel.
00:54Just to, you know, Acoli gets that jab into play.
00:58It's going to be a difficult night for Lorena to get past that long reach.
01:02He's got to be very, very sharp with the head movement.
01:05Lorena, we see him in the media workout again.
01:07Shades of Tyson with the, you know, hands high, really, really quick movement.
01:11Getting low, changing the levels with the knees, really bending them.
01:15I mean, for Lawrence Acoli, it's about keeping it long, really fully rotating through that right hand.
01:21There's 31 knockouts between them.
01:24Not a time to go and get a cup of coffee or a beer.
01:26Keep your eyes firmly on this one.
01:29And Acoli has always been a beer puncher.
01:32And he believes that heavyweight is an absolute monster.
01:36Quite often through his career, he gets the distance wrong.
01:40But he wants to be aggressive, but he gets that front foot too close.
01:43So when he throws, he quite often throws over the top of the head with the right hand.
01:47So he does, with that reach, he doesn't need to get that foot close.
01:49The only he's got to do is turn from the hips.
01:51And he gets the length in the shot and he got them right where he wants them.
01:54He's getting his jab out early.
01:56Acoli enjoying time with Joe Gallagher.
01:59They've got an excellent bond.
02:01Kevin Lorena, as always, with the Smith Brothers in this red corner alongside us.
02:07He's in the white and pink.
02:09Lorena, right hand from Acoli.
02:12Yeah, Lorena has to try and nullify the sort of the leaning on from Acoli.
02:17He needs to try and find a shot or an angle or something.
02:20He needs to try and work away because it really does empty your tank
02:25when someone of that size is leaning all over you.
02:28See, I think he felt that right hand there, Lorena.
02:30I think he did.
02:31And Acoli just looked massive on the scales at 262 pounds.
02:37It was nice there from Acoli.
02:39See, he loops that right hand, but the right hand I thought that hurt Lorena there
02:42was right down the middle.
02:44You haven't got to throw with the arm, just turn the body
02:47and let the arm release once the shoulder square up.
02:50What I do like is when he finishes, he throws that left to the body.
02:54He's thrown it a couple of times already.
02:57It's a very hurtful shot right around that right elbow of Lorena.
03:02You like to see Lorena's going to start moving his head,
03:04but he doesn't really do that.
03:05See, that's the block and walk you down.
03:07But if you can do that a little bit more,
03:08just get a little bit more lateral movement.
03:09And he was doing that.
03:10Is that what I was saying?
03:11At the mid-week workout, you felt that was the plan.
03:13He was going to be sharp with the movement.
03:15You're right, he does need to do that.
03:16He's not bobbing or weaving enough.
03:18Lorena, Acoli's had a really good start here.
03:22A solid look now about Lawrence Acoli as a heavyweight.
03:26a solid look now.
03:32He goes to the Orthodox Buddha,
03:34and he goes to the Christianity major.
03:35Hehopping.
03:36He's not bobbing orượng.
03:36He's gonna come to the Prosent'mahawk purpose!
03:39He's coming to be tone of fore Tracy Case,
03:40and I'll start screaming at heart沒事 in Las Vegas.

07:07.
07:09.
07:10but he's got to be quick with it.
07:12But also, it's not a bad idea because you don't want to be walking at the shots with Acoli,
07:15who's going to be dangerous earlier on for sure, isn't he?
07:18Squeak one in there, Lorena, but Acoli comes back trying to work the body,
07:23getting the eyes down of Kevin Lorena.
07:26Snappy punches there from Acoli as well, putting a bit of spite in those shots.
07:30Yeah, working the body really, really well.
07:32It's a good little move back there from Acoli to finish the run.
07:40Okay, get your movement side to side, it takes him from loading up, you can't let him load up.
07:53Okay, just move, move even if you're fake, move and stop him from standing up.
07:58All he's trying to do is bomb the one-two down the line, he's throwing the uppercuts now.
08:01You're allowing him to do that. Just move the legs, move the head.
08:05Okay, work your way in like you're doing it.
08:08Good. Keep your chin down when you're trying.
08:10Okay, the rest do these.
08:17A beautiful scene and filling up minute by minute at Wembley Stadium here in North London.
08:29Fabulous.
08:30Stunning sporting venue.
08:36And will we have a stunning knockout in this one?
08:38Laurence Acoli and Kevin Lorena.
08:41Acoli, spiteful puncher.
08:43Lorena was just told off by his corner, not moving enough, not getting the shoulders flowing
08:49and walking into those uppercuts. That's what they're worried about.
08:52Yeah, what I'm saying, you're going to slip on that outside.
08:54That's going to be the effective weapon for him.
08:56And then he can get that left hand through the middle.
08:58And then that right hook over the brown side out of Acoli.
09:01I mean, he's not a lot more Cenghor, is he?
09:03He's not going to pivot on the outside, but certainly slide your foot on the outside
09:07to give you the advantage to land on the center.
09:10And stay low, always stay low.
09:13Looking sharp here, Laurence Acoli with a good body shot.
09:17Talk of possibly a fight with Ajit Kabael, maybe in Germany in the autumn, for the winner of this.
09:26He's very nearly there, Acoli.
09:28He could be a couple of wins away, couldn't he?
09:30And this is a nice discipline to stay from him.
09:33Yeah, Acoli, I think there's a shot here, a jab, a long left hook, then the right hand.
09:37He can take, as we've been saying with Lorena, get your foot on the outside.
09:41I think Acoli could do it.
09:42Throw that long left hook and then follow it through with a right hand.
09:46What? Inside that south force arm.
09:48I understand what you're saying, but I don't think, if he doesn't get his foot closer,
09:51he doesn't need to, because he can do it from distance.
09:54I would say more on the outside as opposed to moving forward.
09:56Just get on the outside a little.
10:0335th fight for Kevin Lorena.
10:07It's good for Acoli there, because he's holding without holding.
10:10He's getting chest to chest.
10:11That's really clever, that is. You're not holding on, you're not the one who can't warn you.
10:16You're trying to be frustrated with some Acoli fights, particularly that one against
10:22Matty Askin here on the NHL.
10:24Yeah, but he still finds a way to win though, we forget that.
10:31Good right hook, it just grazed the target from Lorena.
10:34I'd like to see that a bit more as he gets close to throw them high, top of the head.
10:38He's going like this, another one, you've got that big right hand and it works.
10:49He should be jab, jab, the weight on that jab, should be pushing back Lorena.
10:55And then you throw that right hand, because you move him onto the right, onto the longer shot.
10:58Another body shot though from Acoli, and a pause for the blue corner.
11:02Just caught the eye of Joseph Parker, and he's about four rows back.
11:07I mean, that's extraordinary, isn't it?
11:09And what's he got to do to get a fight?
11:12Who else has he got to beat to get a fight?
11:14But his time will come, I'm sure.
11:15His time will come.
11:16And I've got to be honest, at the minute, he's boxing really well here, Acoli.
11:20Nice, again, discipline, patience, good work.
11:24At the moment, he's looking at another excellent addition to the heavyweight division,
11:29which is absolutely flying at the moment.
11:33So many good matches to make.
11:35Kevin Lorena's got to wake up a bit here.
11:37Backstage, with Don and Ian flanking Daniel Dubois.
12:07He was locked and loaded when he fought Anthony Joshua.
12:14He was tunnel-visioned.
12:16It was sort of he would not be denied.
12:19Is it more of the same tonight that they tell him?
12:21I think his belief in himself now is at an all-time high.
12:25And sometimes that's all it takes.
12:26You've got the ability, but the belief in that you could do things that you didn't think you could do.
12:30I think he proved that in the three wins, since the Juzic defeat,
12:35that he can push the pace, that he can go through the other side and come on victorious.
12:39Yeah, his mental wellness is on point.
12:41It really is confidence through the roof.
12:42And you get that through the performances, as you say.
12:45He's been here.
12:46This is an alien to him.
12:48Go into this stadium, get the biggest win in your career.
12:52Go into the changing room.
12:53Making that ring walk is not unfamiliar territory for you.
12:57And let's not forget, he went to Poland, he might as well went to Ukraine.
13:00It was because it was full of Juzic fans.
13:04It was full of Ukrainians everywhere.
13:07It really was.
13:07So, you know, he's done that.
13:08He's coming to Wembley, which was full of Joshua fans as well.
13:12So, he's an improved fighter mentally.
13:14Let's not forget that.
13:15Physically, I think he's the same fighter.
13:17He was good.
13:17Kevin Lorena just trying to put his foot down on the accelerator,
13:23but Okoli standing strong and tall, and that jab is a measuring stick and more body work.
13:29I like that one-two.
13:30I'll go again.
13:31Okoli, throw the shot again, double up.
13:34Two shots, two shots again.
13:35Little marking.
13:37Hopefully it's not a cut to the left eye of Lorena.
13:39I think it's the right hand hand that are causing that damage.
13:42Yep, those rights are getting through, even partially.
13:45Body shots are working well.
13:47A spring to his step for the 32-year-old from Hackney, Lawrence Okoli.
13:54We just looked at each other, me and Darren Ayer, and said that that swat in the eye is
13:57where he's protecting himself.
13:58That's the inside of his own glove, with the power of the shot there from Okoli.
14:03Right on there, and a bump underneath that left eye, and he just leans on him, Okoli.
14:09I mean, this is clever tactics.
14:10Yeah, it is.
14:11He had that leaning push in the ring.
14:12You haven't got to do a lot, so you haven't got to fight him inside there
14:15to get control.
14:16Just get chest to chest and throw your weight on him.
14:18He's really got a style that works for him, hasn't he, Okoli?
14:22You know, inside he'll just grab all of the eye and even throw the odd shot when he's inside,
14:26and when he keeps it long like this.
14:28He's a really tough man to beat.
14:32Left hand from Lorena, better.
14:34Yeah, that's the right shot.
14:35He can't throw in singles, Lorena.
14:38That's better working and good body work.
14:40Yeah, just trying to dig in and roll those arms, Kevin Lorena.
14:46I wonder if he's just been a bit too much of a sparring partner over the years.
14:50I understand what you're saying, but I think his performances in recent fights, even in defeat,
14:55have shown that, you know, that he can get it right on the line so he can certainly perform
15:03and not just turn up to be that.
15:04I understand what you're saying.
15:05You get that mentality of just waiting too long and blocking shots,
15:08but Okoli's a hard puzzle to break because he's so awkward.
15:17Waiting too long for me here, Lorena.
15:19Don't let his shots go, or at least get close, try and get close, get low,
15:24bend those knees, but be quick on the feet, then let your shots go.
15:27I didn't hear as well.
15:28We see it about 30 seconds ago.
15:29Really start letting your shots go.
15:31Don't just wait for the referee to break you and push you apart.
15:34Work!
15:35And what's that, guys?
15:36Is that quickening your feet up, or you faint, or you double jab your way in?
15:40Exactly, yeah.
15:40Either or, double jab, fight.
15:43It's a bit busy.
15:44Good on his feet there, Okoli.
15:46Let's get over to Tom Davis, who's got Conor Ben with him.
15:56Hi, Conor Ben, how are you doing, bro?
15:58Hey, I'm good. How are you?
15:59Very, very well.
16:00Big question first off.
16:01You versus Eubank, what's happening?
16:03All I know is I was ready September 20th, he ain't ready, he needs a few more months,
16:07so we'll see it, mum, willing to wait around.
16:10If anyone can make the fight happen, it's Turkey, so we'll wait and see.
16:13Very exciting.
16:14And of course tonight, massive one tonight, bro.
16:16What do you think?
16:16Where's your heart?
16:18My heart's saying, the boy on my head's saying, Usyk.
16:21I want to see the Brick do it, the boy has the power to look at the man on the planet out, so
16:26we can never write either, why not?
16:29It's all on strategy and who performs on the night.
16:32Good stuff, Conor Ben, Tom Davis, out.
16:34I've had a good chat with Conor earlier, desperate to get Chris Eubank back in the ring,
16:42and it sounded like His Excellency wants that to happen in November.
16:47Fantastic.
16:48What a flight that was in April.
16:50Are we going to get another sizzler in the summer in a few minutes' time between Oleksandr Usyk
16:57and Daniel Dubois, 90,000 will be here.
17:02Round five of this, Laurence Acoli, Kevin Lorena, Acoli boxing well.
17:08Yeah, no, he is, he is Roxy Belt.
17:10And again, like always with Acoli, just doing the basics.
17:13Not getting extravagant with his work, not trying to show off too much.
17:18Mainly straight shots, he throws the odd uppercut with the right hand.
17:22But he has to cricket his feet up, doesn't he?
17:24Yeah, he does.
17:24Lorena.
17:25He's got to be sharp on the way now.
17:27Step left, step right, just be a lot quicker with everything.
17:30He's got to change the tempo now.
17:33At least attempt to.
17:34And I know he's wary, he's probably felt the power on the gloves of Acoli,
17:37but look, this is such a big opportunity.
17:40You don't want to look back at this and think,
17:41I wish I would have done that, I wish I would have done this.
17:44And that's the moment, do it now.
17:46And that's when that slip on the outside is effectively,
17:48because then you pretty much, you're safe and you'll probably have to turn.
17:52And those right hands from Acoli,
17:54even being partially blocked on those big arms of Lorena,
17:58just have an effect, don't they?
18:00They just keep on coming, chipping away.
18:02And they make you reset, that's the most important part for Acoli.
18:05If he's not landing with a clean shot,
18:08he's just stopping Lorena from walking forward.
18:10That's a good shot for Acoli, that straight right to the body.
18:12I've seen a couple of times the knees dip of Lorena, he feels those shots.
18:16I think he can come back upstairs with the left hook.
18:19But this isn't really about what Acoli should be doing,
18:22this is more what Lorena should be doing now.
18:25Good body shot again, he looks cool and calm in front of that.
18:30Very, very important ringside row.
18:34Acoli looking to impress tonight, and so far so good.
18:40Oh, a lovely right attack from Acoli.
18:42He took it well, Lorena, then fired back.
18:44There is a caveat, though, that he's making Acoli throw a lot of shots.
18:48More than he would usually, yeah.
18:50I think so, yeah, and maybe that's Acoli's stance for Tyre,
18:53but not to take anyone like that, though.
18:55And I think that that could work again for Acoli,
18:58but there was a left hook that landed.
18:59I'll double up with the shot, Bob, as Lorena throw it in.
19:02I spotted that two down, I thought that left hook was useful,
19:05and I think he needs more of it, Lorena.
19:08Well, that's what I don't like Acoli,
19:10when he throws that right hand and brings the right foot with it,
19:12because he gets close to the target, squares himself out and got no balance.
19:16And if a big right hook comes over the top, you are in trouble.
19:20He's got a £30 weight advantage in there, Acoli.
19:24That was on the scales yesterday, it's probably more tonight.
19:27And you can just see now this physicality that he's got,
19:31as well as the decent boxing, is winning in these rounds.
19:35He's still doing what I think, Barry.
19:37You know when everyone really brings a foot in,
19:38I think he thinks it's a win-win.
19:40If I land the shot, great.
19:42If I don't, I get close and I smother my opponent.
19:50You've got to be a bit more controlled, the hands-up control of the breathing.
20:03On the track, get your breath back, come on.
20:05Big breath, come on.
20:06Saturday, November the 22nd, we heard His Excellency mentioning it a few minutes ago.
20:15Ring four, the night of champions, on the zone, stack guard.
20:21David Benavidez against Anthony Yard,
20:24Devin Haney against Brian Norman Junior, and more to come on that.
20:30Ring three was absolutely brilliant, wasn't it?
20:35Not just Hamza Shiraz, but Shakur Stevenson's performance.
20:39You know, Shakur Stevenson boxed brilliant.
20:41St. Pedro boxed brilliant.
20:42I thought St. Pedro was fantastic, even in defeat.
20:44He didn't stop, did he?
20:45Not at all, no.
20:46I thought he was really good, but Shakur Stevenson,
20:48the judgment of distance, making you miss by inches, is such a skill.
20:52Any young fighter out there wants to watch Katie Taylor's performance
20:56against Amanda Serrano last Friday, and Shakur Stevenson's
21:00on Saturday.
21:01The sweet science.
21:04Second half of this one, Akoli and Lorena.
21:07Akoli way up.
21:08Yeah, he is, and he's boxing well, and he looks like he's got plenty of energy as well.
21:12I think he's boxed nice and calm.
21:14And the jabs, he's been wanting the jab and on again,
21:17but mostly with that left hand, it's been a solid left hand jab.
21:22Yeah, every now and again, as you said, he'll fence with it.
21:25But yeah, a bit more very...
21:26I don't mind the fencing, if you're going to follow a right hand through, then great,
21:29but don't get the habit of doing it.
21:31I mean, more variation, head, body, but that changing the level there is good.
21:35That's what you're talking about in the last round, wasn't it, that right hand?
21:37But I think, I wouldn't be shocked if that's what Joel Gallagher, if you're trying to get
21:41out of him, because that wand in the left hand is what he's doing through most of his
21:44cruiserweight career, and wasted that left jab, I think, quite often.
21:49Because all the powers in the right hand, all he's thinking about is,
21:51I land with this shot, Joel Dunn.
21:52And plenty of power in that left, so, you know, he neglects a really hurtful shot.
21:57Well, no, he's got all that weight behind that shot.
22:00You step behind it, forget about being a knuckle punch,
22:02it's just a punch that's going to push you back.
22:04Right hand from Ocoli, again, that's all the feet to CBS, Chris Billingsmith,
22:14down in Bournemouth. Strange fight that, wasn't it?
22:17And to be honest, this is a little bit, if I'm honest, I'd like to see Lorraine do a lot more
22:22than he is, this is far too comfortable at the minute for Ocoli.
22:26I would say, except for that one shot, what was it, round one or two, he hasn't really looked troubled yet,
22:31Lorraine either, by the way. He's not winning the runs, but he hasn't looked troubled at all.
22:35Which is why I mentioned the sparring partner mentality of Kevin Lorraine.
22:39I wonder if he just sort of gets into a groove and can't somehow get out of it,
22:43because it looks like he just needs to shift gears here, the tempo, the pace, something.
22:49Well, he was saying all the right things to build up to this, you know,
22:52that he's learned from his defeat, certainly that he won age well, didn't it,
22:55with the way that he fought against Fabio Wardley right at the end there and getting beaten,
23:00but I think he took confidence away from it, so he was saying all the right things,
23:04but he's just not doing it right now in the ring. Very difficult though,
23:07when you're in there for someone like Ocoli.
23:09Because you're feeling the power on the gloves.
23:11Yeah, you are.
23:12That's enough in that, I think I can take a risk, so it makes you more cautious.
23:16And he's six foot five and he's got an 82 inch reach as well.
23:20Laurence Ocoli, never been easy to fight, that's why Billum Smith's win was so good, I guess.
23:26Little bit low there for Ocoli, but the body shots have been good.
23:29Left hand from Norena, that's what you want to see more of.
23:32Yeah, just needs to shift that weight over to the right-hand side when he throws it.
23:36So if you dip your head up, if you dip your head to the right,
23:39all the weight will go that way and then you can throw that right hand with a bit more torque.
23:42Let's get over to the other side of the ring and he's got Jake Paul with him.
23:54Yes, I do have the problem child with me, Mike Tyson in the stadium.
23:58When I see you and Turkey together, I believe that AJ in the stadium is now possible.
24:02Yeah, 100%, like this is where it's going to happen.
24:06We're going to do the unthinkable and create one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing.
24:10And that's what this is all about, I'm here, but you said Tyson's here?
24:15No, I said you did Mike Tyson in the stadium.
24:16Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. I thought you said Mike was here.
24:20Okay, so how realistic is this, Jake? Because people think it's unrealistic.
24:24Is it realistic, those conversations about you and AJ?
24:26It's not even about it being realistic or not, like it's going to happen.
24:30So fasten your seat belts or whatever.
24:32And when I knock them out, I go down the history books forever.
24:36Okay, very quickly, who wins, Usyk or Dubois?
24:38I got Usyk, we're born on the same day, January 17th, also Muhammad Ali's birthday.
24:43So tonight he becomes the GOAT.
24:45There you go, you heard it.
24:46Jake stole my line there, I was going to say Muhammad Ali's birthday as well.
24:51Jake Paul, Alexander Usyk, Jake Paul against AJ here at Barry Jones.
24:57See, I don't see it as an unrealistic fight.
24:59I mean, it's crazy to think it would happen.
25:01But in this era of boxing and what he's done so far, I mean, I don't give him a chance at all.
25:06But AJ hasn't got a title.
25:08What's the problem with it?
25:09He's got a license, he's got a license.
25:11It's just the way it is nowadays.
25:13Good work, really good work from McConaughey.
25:15He's starting to put the shots together now.
25:17Head, body, going through the gears.
25:19As you said, Barry, looks fresh, doesn't he still?
25:21But he's dictated the pace, hasn't he?
25:23He has, he's all been on his terms.
25:24And when it is on your terms, you really control the pace when you box.
25:30However fast or slow it is, you're comfortable, aren't you?
25:33Yeah, you're in the rhythm with your own breathing.
25:36Barry, he's starting to really part his feet now, O'Kobee, noticeably different.
25:42He was dancing a lot like that, but he's now getting that front foot forward.
25:47He wants to chuck a right hand down the pipe, I think.
25:50Or maybe an uppercut if Lorena tries to come in.
25:53But again, the front foot forward, he's got a guy coming at him.
25:57So all you've got to do is anchor that front foot.
25:58It's usually anchor your back foot.
26:00If he anchors that front foot in, turn it slightly inwards.
26:03And just do that, turn from the hips.
26:06That technique, punching inside your body frame, just perfect technique.
26:09And with the weight he has, with someone coming onto you, then knockout punches.
26:14Right hand from Lorena, trying to get that jab.
26:17Going, a bit more of a spring to his step.
26:19I think that uppercut's there again for O'Kobee now.
26:23Their elbows are starting to flare out a little bit.
26:25As he's getting a little tired here and frustrated, you can see the guard is loosening of Lorena.
26:30I think that right uppercut is a good shot for O'Kobee to start throwing again.
26:34What Lorena's got to do, he's got to bend his legs a little bit.
26:36I mean, that makes him a little bit lower.
26:38But also, when you bend your legs, it engages the muscle,
26:40so it makes you a little bit faster than your attacks.
26:42You can jump into your attacks.
26:43And it also just gives you a bit of speed and a bit of more energy.
26:47It takes a lot of energy to do it, but he needs to close the gap quicker.
26:51I think these are really good tactics, drummed up by Joe Gallagher in that blue corner.
26:57A little bit like Solomon Dakers early on tonight.
27:00There's a plan here, and O'Kobee is looking good.
27:04He's boxing well, I think he's enjoying it in there.
27:07A knockout would be a bonus, but this is a good, decent heavyweight fight for him.
27:12It is, and I think it's a little bit like the Dakers fight, where I think O'Kobee's boxing well.
27:18And I also think Lorena's not boxing great either, to be honest.
27:21Yeah, he's just not got going at all, has he?
27:23But I don't want to say anything away from O'Kobee, but this is zero tempo.
27:28And again, you've doubled up with that shot.
27:29Throw it again.
27:30You've landed a nice left hook there.
27:32You've got your chance.
27:33You know you're in range.
27:34Throw it again.
27:34Last hand of the seventh round, and Laurence Acoli has established a real control there.
27:44And Lorena tries to get a left hand back late, but too late, probably in the round.
27:48Let's get a Tom Davis, who's got Gordon Ramsay, big boxing fan here.
27:54I'm here with Gordon Ramsay.
27:56Gordon, excited, it's buzzing here.
27:58What do you think?
27:59Who's got it?
27:59Oh, it's electrifying.
28:01I think Daniel's going to do it.
28:02Round seven, think back what he did at 25 years of age when he stepped to the ring for
28:07the first time with him.
28:08So, he knows so much.
28:09I popped in to say hello.
28:11He's looking incredible.
28:12Mate, it's going to be a banger, right?
28:14It's going to be an absolute monster of a night, trust me.
28:18That's me, that's Gordon Ramsay.
28:20Let's go, baby!
28:25It's nine minutes now, though, Repsol.
28:26The helicopter shot overlooking Lawrence Sicoli and Kevin Laredo, who's a helicopter pilot.
28:42Charismatic guy from South Africa.
28:44Two guns, the KO kid.
28:50He feels that, yeah, they've been forgotten a bit, the Johannesburg fighters over the years.
28:55Corey Sarvis was a good one, wasn't he?
28:57Some power, Corey.
29:02He's got to start chopping away now, Lorena.
29:04Oh, Darren, you're so funny.
29:11It's just all humor, isn't it?
29:22That's better, a bit of blood from the Ocoli nose, and we want some real action here, don't we, with Lorena?
29:28Yeah, but again, all that was, was just a bit of speed in his world.
29:33Just a different tempo, and just effective.
29:37All he needs to do now is follow that up, follow that tack up with another couple of shots.
29:43Sharper the feet, sharper the hands, but commit.
29:47Not long left now.
29:48How many rounds have you given to Lorena, any?
29:51No, he hasn't done much, to be honest.
29:54He'll be trying to walk Ocoli down, but I mean, he hasn't been really letting his hands go enough to really put the Ocoli in any pressure.
30:02And Ocoli's been nice and calm as well, he hasn't been making sure he's getting those big shots on, on target in every round.
30:09And the jab, that's been good for him, the jab.
30:11I don't think another 10, 15 pounds taken off of Ocoli, he'll just sharpen up his feet,
30:16be able to get in a bit quicker, out of the range, a bit sharper.
30:20I don't think we'll see him hang around 260 pounds.
30:25Good body shot again from Ocoli, real smart guy outside the ring.
30:30And what a story, a life-changing story, watching Anthony Joshua win gold here in London,
30:38when he was working out of dollars.
30:40He lost the weight, he became an amateur himself and an Olympian.
30:45And he's hoping to become a three-weight world champion.
30:50Not many of those, Ricky Burns was one.
30:52Yeah.
30:53Duke McKenzie, of course, not to be a Duke.
30:56Great fighter, Duke.
30:57One of our best.
30:58Oh, good shot.
30:59That's a lovely right hand from Ocoli, when he gets that leverage into it.
31:02I like that, I like that, certainly earlier when he throws that lift to the body after the right hand.
31:16Really surprises Lorena.
31:18Again, you know, just saying this, when I said about Lorena should come forward and slip and slide,
31:22and it's easy to say when you're not taking a shot from Ocoli.
31:25But on the flip side, nothing really, except for that shot in the early rounds,
31:31it's really troubled of Lorena, so maybe he can take the shot.
31:34So if he can, he should definitely be taking that educational risk of trying to close the gap.
31:42Right hand from Ocoli again.
31:45Here's the movement with the shoulders and head, and a left hand just slightly after the bell,
31:50and a ticking off from Victor Lachlan. Meanwhile, the final moments before battle,
32:01Oleksandr Usyk, and this Wembley crowd awaits.
32:08You simply have to love these sort of nights, Barry.
32:11Are they great?
32:12Once it gets dark, you get super excited, don't you?
32:15You straight away, because you know it's close.
32:17And also, you look around and you say, God, there's like 50,000 people here.
32:20And then you look up 10 minutes later, and you go, it's packed. Absolutely packed.
32:25It suddenly just gets like that, doesn't it?
32:28The dark falls, the arch, the lights. London at night, in the summer.
32:35Nothing like it, and nothing like the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world,
32:41coming up right after this fight. Six minutes left.
32:46Laurence Ocoli, Kevin Lorena for the WBC silver title.
32:52It's just a stepping stone, but Ocoli ranked right at the top of that division
32:58as number one, so he's gonna get a shot.
33:01We don't know when, or who.
33:03And there's a whole lot of heavyweights over there who might be fighting him.
33:08Do you know what, he's boxed well, he's boxed really, really well Ocoli, but
33:13I'll accept that being a round off there, but I'd like to see him just get a bit busier in this round.
33:18I'd like to see him work a little bit more, he's had everything his own way, just kind of,
33:22I don't know if he switched off or he was saving it for a big finish,
33:24but I'd like to see a bit more intent now from Ocoli.
33:27But also, Joe Gallagher will be telling him more of the same, not the same as the last song,
33:32we say more of the same, you've barely taken a punch, you're getting no jeopardy here,
33:37the win is all what people will remember, the win.
33:40I'm speaking on behalf of the fans.
33:42Oh yeah.
33:44Man of the people.
33:46Well, that is the question, do we need that extra layer of entertainment here from Laurence Ocoli
33:52to find the knockout, right hand.
33:54I mean, it really would be something, wouldn't it?
33:58At this time, live on the zone, all around the world, just to send a statement,
34:03he's boxed really well, but with a big finish.
34:08Yeah, but he hasn't made a dent in Lorraine, really, so he's taking a risk that,
34:12you know, if he's knocking Lorraine back every time he hits him in the right hand,
34:15then maybe he should go for it.
34:16But he hasn't, so you've got to think, you know,
34:18until there's a chink in the armour, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.
34:21And Darren, what are the Lorraine corner thinking here?
34:24I think they'll be frustrated, and I'm pretty sure Lorraine will be frustrated in there as well,
34:28he just can't get going.
34:29Another lovely right to the body from Ocoli.
34:32The slide across will be really good.
34:34Yeah, lovely.
34:35He's used his height, his reach, his extra weight, his skills.
34:40Oh, but he walks into a shot there, and Kevin Lorraine, we know, can hit, and hit late.
34:46This is a good part of Lorraine, though, he's having to take a shot,
34:49but as soon as the last shot throws from Ocoli, he's firing back.
34:54And get in there before Ocoli gets the hands back up.
34:56Oh, that's it.
34:57That's it.
34:58Dip through, dip through high.
35:03Yeah, that was nice, that.
35:04Yeah, a little dip of the knees through that left on top.
35:08Guys, what do you think the likes of Joe Parker, Ajit Cabael, Moses Itam, Adilio,
35:13what do these guys think of the Ocoli performance?
35:16Are they going to be in any way worried about it?
35:18They won't be worried, but they'll be aware about, you know,
35:20that he punches Neaton straight down the line like that.
35:22They're shots you don't want to be taking regularly, so you have to find a way inside.
35:26But also, they'll think, you know, I can get close with some more lateral movement,
35:30dipping your legs and sliding in, you know, there is a route to get close with him.
35:34He does like to get that foot still a little bit too close, like that.
35:37You'd definitely be thinking, wouldn't you, I could do more than Lorraine up.
35:41Yeah, most definitely.
35:42But you also would be aware, you know, that right hand's a nice clean shot,
35:46you don't want to take too often.
35:52It's all gone now.
36:07Well, the music really starting, and the atmosphere beginning to just crank up a notch.
36:16Wow.
36:21What a sight.
36:25It's still a relatively new stadium, Wembley.
36:28We've already had some absolute humdingers here, most notably AJ and Klitschko back in 2017.
36:37One of the greatest heavyweight fights of the modern era.
36:41What's in store in about 20 minutes' time?
36:46Don't go anywhere.
36:47Final round of this, Laurence Acoli and Kevin Lorena,
36:51who's got to throw everything at the Brit now, surely.
36:55He has, but also he can be reckless with a puncher like Acoli.
36:59Though, I've got to say, Acoli hasn't looked a massive puncher in this fight,
37:03but I think he's boxed really well.
37:04I think it's been, the neatness that's worked out has been the difference.
37:07It really has.
37:08He's stuck to a very good game plan, Adam.
37:10But hasn't Lorena got to take a risk here, surely?
37:13Oh, but yeah, look, the opportunity that presents itself to him right now,
37:18this is the final round.
37:19It is kitchen sink stuff, but you can't be reckless.
37:22You can still get knocked out in the final round,
37:24but then he does get the epic finish that we want to see from Acoli.
37:29So, yeah.
37:30But it's not even as if Lorena's had some really big moments.
37:33He's landed with a couple of good shots.
37:34We haven't done some big moments where he can go,
37:36when I did that in round five, it works.
37:38And let me just commit to that.
37:39He has to do something that he hasn't really done so far in the fight.
37:43He will kick himself, though.
37:45I've no doubt Lorena will kick himself.
37:47There's a lot more he could have done.
37:50But I don't want to take anything away from Laurence Acoli,
37:53who's boxed well, he really has.
37:55And two instructions, it looks like.
37:56Two instructions, exactly.
37:57He's spot on.
37:59That's exactly what he's done.
38:00He's executed the game plan of Joe Gallagher and the team.
38:05And Acoli has been really switched on tonight.
38:08And he's been good to watch as well.
38:10It's not been that sort of octopus straggling, holding,
38:15which at times he's been criticised for.
38:17Well, he's been awful to watch at times.
38:19That's just the truth of it, because he's been a little bit awkward for the wins.
38:23Cruiserly.
38:24No, I think he has that part.
38:26I think he's pushing back, pulling back on the punches, of course,
38:28when he throws the right hand.
38:29Well aware that he has some good defence against Lorena.
38:32He's getting used to fighting at this weight, carrying this weight around.
38:38You know, that's going to take some getting used to it.
38:40That's why I don't think he stays at 260-plus pounds.
38:45I think he dropped down, I think optimum weight for him would be around 240.
38:48But I'll make you right there, Daz.
38:52Guys, tough to judge on this performance.
38:55It was all about the victory over a very, very decent opponent.
38:59But will Lawrence Acoli become a World Heavyweight Champion?
39:02There's so many moving parts.
39:06I don't, I know, he'd be an underdog against Usyk, he'd be an underdog against Dubois,
39:11that's for sure.
39:12He really would.
39:13So, you know, I mean, but he's at that position now.
39:15If he gets the opportunity, he'd have to take it.
39:18If he's in line, I don't think he is next in line.
39:19Do you think he will be, though?
39:22Ready.
39:22A World Champion at Heavyweight?
39:24Well, not right now, because he won't beat the two guys who were at the top of the tree.
39:27So, if you're saying right now, today, if he had the opportunity today, then no.
39:32But 2026?
39:33Potentially, it depends on if those belts fragment.
39:38He's certainly a player, he's a part of it now, Lawrence Acoli.
39:42He's boxed really well tonight.
39:44It's not been an exciting one.
39:46Kevin Lorena never really got going.
39:48Acoli's won it wide.
39:49Joe Gallagher is thrilled with him.
39:52He absolutely boxed to T.
39:55That was the plan.
39:57He negated Kevin Lorena.
39:59He used the height, the reach, and all the advantages that he brought to the ring.
40:06And he looks a real heavyweight.
40:08It wasn't the knockout finish that all people want, but that's a very good performance from
40:11Lawrence Acoli.
40:12A very neat performance, and we haven't said that very often about him.
40:15It was neat, it was good, and a really good performance, I thought.
40:18Well done, Lawrence Acoli.
40:20Bring on the big boys.
40:22Thanks very much.
40:26Yes, we are waiting for the main event, obviously.
40:29And as we wait for a decision in this co-main event, we are just going to start the build-up
40:33to the main event because that time for those ring walks is getting closer and closer.
40:36I guess one of the things that, thinking about Usyk and Dubois meeting again, we obviously think
40:40about the rematches that you two have been in.
40:43We've seen Usyk in rematches before against Tyson Fury, against Anthony Joshua.
40:47And one of the things you seem to learn is you can be better against Usyk in a rematch,
40:51and he can still find a way to beat you.
40:54Yeah, absolutely.
40:54I mean, you basically look at the first fight and say, what could I have done?
41:00And then you try and change it.
41:02You try and change it going into the second fight, and make sure that you accomplish your goal.
41:07I think Usyk, because he's such a master craftsman, an amazing genius, I call him.
41:14I genuinely think he's a genius boxer.
41:17He'll learn more from the first fight than Daniel will have.
41:20I know people are saying Daniel's improved, certainly he has improved,
41:23but I think Usyk will have downloaded all that information already.
41:27And I think because of the amateur background and everything else he's done,
41:31because of how he thinks his way around the ring, it's going to suit him more.
41:34Let's very quickly make this co-main official with Thomas Treiber.
41:38Let's go over to him.
41:47Ladies and gentlemen, after 10 rounds of boxing, we go to the judges' scorecards.
41:56Judge Lee Every scores it 99 to 91.
42:00And both judges, Ray Danseco and Nathan Palmer are in agreement.
42:05They both scored the same 100 to 90.
42:08All for your winner by unanimous decision.
42:12And still, WBC silver heavyweight champion, Lawrence the Sauce Okoli.
42:24A clean, polished performance at heavyweight for Lawrence Okoli,
42:32who will get a chance or two later this year.
42:36Well, the countdown is nearly over.
42:51History is going to be made tonight at Wembley Stadium.
42:54The undisputed heavyweight championship on the world is on the line under the famous arch.
42:59Thank you very much, Alexander.
43:09Thank you very much, Alexander.
