The number of people affected due to the combined effects of Severe Tropical Storm “Crising” and “habagat” (southwest monsoon) has risen to 96,000 as three individuals were reported missing amid massive flooding and landslides, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Saturday, July 19.

00:00The number of people affected by severe Tropical Storm Crissing and the Southwest Monsoon has climbed to over 96,000, according to the NDRRMC.
00:12A total of 37,598 families or 96,791 individuals were affected in Ilocos, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western and Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Soxargen, Caraga, and Negros Island.
00:33Over 11,000 people are currently in evacuation centers, while more than 6,000 are staying with relatives or friends, and are being assisted by the NDRRMC.
00:46Flooding was also reported in 26 areas across seven regions.
00:51Meanwhile, three people were reported missing.
00:54According to Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV, two of those missing were in Antique, while one was in Palawan.
