00:00Hello from the Bureau, let's take a look at what the weather is doing across the country tomorrow
00:04which will be Friday the 18th of July
00:07and there is an area of interest across the east coast where we haven't seen much rain this week
00:11but during Friday there will be a low pressure area that develops somewhere near the Queensland-New South Wales border
00:17now at this current stage it looks like this low will quite quickly move away from the country
00:22and won't have a huge impact on the weather
00:24but will certainly bring some showers and stronger winds to parts of either state
00:29elsewhere we've got high pressure really continuing to dominate most other areas
00:33which will mean sunny and settled conditions
00:36let's fly around the states and we will finally see a bit of rain across Queensland on Friday
00:41through the southeast from Rockhampton down to the Darling Downs and across to the southeast coast
00:45including Brisbane, showers expected to develop through the morning
00:48and really stick around into the afternoon, probably clearing up at the end of the day
00:53rainfall totals relatively low but could see up to about 15 or 20mm in a few areas
00:58and maybe a touch more for one or two locations
01:01elsewhere across the state from Mackay right up to the top and out to the west
01:06we've got fine sunny conditions
01:08there will also be a bit of wet weather for parts of eastern and northern New South Wales
01:13and the time of day does vary
01:14so early in the morning we'll see showers across maybe the northern rivers, northern tablelands
01:19and northwest slopes and plains
01:21it's not until the afternoon when we expect to see showers push up this east coast
01:25in effect the likes of the Illawarra coast, the Sydney coast
01:28up into the Hunter and the mid north coast as well
01:31most of that wet weather should clear up either during the evening or overnight
01:34paving the way for a settled and dry Saturday
01:37western parts of the state will have fine weather with none of that rain
01:42down through Victoria a little bit warmer here than what we've had through the week so far
01:46at least during the day, the night and the morning will still be pretty chilly
01:49lots of 1 degree temperatures on our map for early Friday morning so it will be fresh as
01:54you head out the door 5 degrees in Melbourne but those afternoon highs just a couple of
01:58degrees warmer than they have been and should be bathed in sunshine as well
02:03very little chance of rain across the state except for a light shower down around the south coast
02:10we've got some northerly winds building across Tasmania getting a little gusty after lunch
02:14that will keep temperatures again a couple of degrees higher than what we've seen through the
02:18week so far Hobart will have a fairly nice day with a high of 14 showers throughout the day up in
02:24the mountain ranges and then in the evening a couple of showers could develop along this north coast
02:29from Burnie across to Launceston across South Australia dry weather will set in on a Friday
02:36very little rainfall maybe a shower for Kangaroo Island and the Limestone Coast outside of that it will be
02:42dry a little bit of cloud here and there but lots of sunshine in between and it's another day another
02:47cold front for Western Australia about the third or fourth one this week flying across the southern
02:52portion of the state during Friday that'll bring a few showers from Perth or somewhere just north of
02:57Perth right around to about Esperance but no significant rainfall totals are forecast there will be some
03:03really big waves across those southern and western coastlines the showery weather doesn't really push
03:08into the wheat belt so it remains fairly dry inland and of course dry across the north which is reflected
03:14right through Australia's north this week it's beautiful clear sunny dry season weather once again
03:20across the territory across the Kimberley as well temperatures in the high 20s or low 30s for our
03:25northern tropics we've got about 20 degree maximums inland but of course those cool desert nights down to
03:31around about one degree in some areas find the early outlook for your weekend weather forecast on the
03:37bureau's website or app thanks for watching and have a lovely day
