00:00When you approached the first time, how much time did you decide to do it?
00:30It's completely written. It's very fine detailing. It's new. It's layered.
00:36Sometimes it's time for 2-3 hours, you have to establish the arc in 2-3 hours.
00:43But this is my first time on OTT.
00:48So, I saw it and it was very good that you can add a layer to a layer.
01:00You know, like an onion, you peel the layers.
01:04So, in every episode, the audience can see the nuances and different shades and layers to the same character.
01:12So, I think that scope is got. That was very exciting.
01:16Your debut in a thriller project. So, what special preparations needed for this?
01:22It was action. It wasn't very high-octane action.
01:27But it was for me. It was realistic.
01:30But it was also a lot of training to make it believable.
01:34Then, I was playing Rhea's body language, his thoughts, his dilemmas,
01:43and to work on them all.
01:45So, I think, Gopi, sir, Manan,
01:47we have worked a lot and thought about how we mold her.
01:53How do we mold her? How do we make it?
01:55So, I think, that process is very interesting.
01:58But in the beginning, you know, you have hiccups, your understanding,
02:02where are we going to take this character?
02:04How do we make it so that it stays consistent?
02:10So, in a movie and a web series, which is a long format project,
02:17what difference did you do?
02:19I love films also. I like to work in movies.
02:23You have to tell your whole story in 2-3 hours and establish each character.
02:29The emotional peaks come very quickly.
02:33Everything is very concise.
02:38In the show, I feel that you slowly unravel the character.
02:44So, it's interesting. It's different.
02:47You can nuanced it because you have time.
02:51You know, it's slow pace.
02:53It's like a slow burn.
02:57So, if I say films, films are like a sprint.
03:01You know, OTT is like a marathon.
03:03You're running, running, running, running, but it's not a sprint.
03:07So, that's the difference that I feel.
03:10Raghuri Riadis?
03:11Yes. Very good.
03:13Actually, I have done another project with him.
03:16And he has made a lot of his work.
03:18I respect him. I look up to him as an actor.
03:21He's lovely. He's very warm.
03:23I have done his work with him.
03:26He's one of those people who, you know,
03:30you know, have a lot of people that have been with family members.
03:35So, I think it's very funny.
03:38And their humor also has a dry sense of humor which I get.
03:42I get and I really enjoyed working with them.
03:45In shooting time, do you want to share a special incident that you want to share?
03:51I think there was a scene where I am playing a cop player, Rhea.
04:00And usually we see that the cops are very strong.
04:04They always go with a straight face, an authority.
04:07But in this character, Gopi sir also wanted to explore the vulnerable side.
04:14So there is a scene where there is a breakdown of her.
04:19Not because she is weak, but sometimes we take a weight on our scene.
04:28And she is somebody who is carrying that weight for a very long time.
04:32So I think that relief, that feeling.
04:37That scene, we had shot at one or two max takes.
04:42And it really felt very real.
04:44It felt very hectic at that time.
04:47Because it takes, it's like your soul is coming out.
04:51And you're seeing people just staring right into your eyes while you're shooting.
04:56And you're just being absolutely vulnerable.
04:59That time it was hard hitting.
05:02Now I think it's good.
05:04Because it feels like it hits the right chord.
05:06But that was one memorable scene.
05:09Why did you see Mandala Murders?
05:11I think it's refreshing.
05:13It's a mythological, fictional crime thriller.
05:17I think the genre is very exciting.
05:20It's fast-paced.
05:21And it's like contemporary and ancient beliefs.
05:28You know, it talks about cult culture.
05:31It talks about beliefs.
05:32It talks about purpose.
05:34It talks about human, just emotional and psychological understanding of beings.
05:43And I think audience will also enjoy this crime solving.
05:48Along with the characters.
05:50On the matter with the characters.
05:51Many characters.
05:52As far as invariably, I think there are so many circles.
05:54We'll be back eventually.
05:55There's a really good-looking romance.
05:56dishonesty.
05:57How did you see?
05:58Perché the character of United?
05:59The reverse rule game are laptops.
06:00And there's 2, right?
06:01Because you could notice.
06:02Is that it meant to Raymond?
06:03We'll be back in the next quarter.
06:04For less obvious time.
06:05If you would notice that росcy,
06:18You did not receive until well.
