Speaker Narwekar calls clash b/w BJP’s Gopichand Padalkar & NCP-SCP’s Jitendra Awhad “unfortunate”

Mumbai, July 18, 2025 (ANI): On the clash between supporters of BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar and NCP-SCP leader Jitendra Awhad outside the Maharashtra Assembly, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar said, “The incident that occurred today in the premises of the Vidhan Bhavan is very unfortunate. I have ordered a thorough investigation and requested a report. Once the report is received, I will announce further action on this matter in the Assembly.”
