00:38:12that lap oh there goes Jerome D'Ambrosio up the inside of Nelson Piquet he's been
00:38:17trying to do that for a while now and Jerome D'Ambrosio up into seventh spot
00:38:20Duval's trying to do the same thing Loic Duval his teammate in the red dragon car
00:38:24they're trying to do the same thing well we're doing our best folks to bring you
00:38:29what's going on here but it is a slightly complex scenario Nico Pross is leading
00:38:33the E3 seven seconds clear of Daniel Apt then in third place for is Jean-Erik
00:38:40Verne fourth Nick Heidfeldt fifth to Costa now so to Costa doing a really good job
00:38:46he's got in front of Oliver Turvey and there he is now on the back of Nick Heidfeldt
00:38:49this is impressive stuff from the Portuguese racer
00:38:52and wow so Bohemi's using some harsh language over the radio that little
00:39:01conversation he said to the team you're being amateurs tell me what I have to do
00:39:05and the team replied saying chill you have the fastest lap but Degrassi thought he got a fastest lap
00:39:12already he's done a personal best in the first section he's gone in too deep and I have to say
00:39:16I'm with Verme on this you need clear instructions from the team because not only is your day your
00:39:21season falling apart here but they're not telling him exactly what he has to do and so
00:39:25they have to be clear on their instructions do this get the fastest lap or what you know
00:39:30we've given you the right gap they keep sending them out their own Lincoln spot
00:39:33I'm getting frustrated look at that yeah Lucas Degrassi almost watered it up there in the turn
00:39:3711 12 chicane just too late on the brakes so the other question is uh how much usable energy does
00:39:45Degrassi have so he has 71% so how did that happen did he go in and recharge it or something quite
00:39:50possibly you're allowed to do that okay so race control is saying Degrassi doesn't have a lap
00:39:56disallowed even though we heard that on team radio and Degrassi seemed to say he did a 24.7 uh race
00:40:02control is saying that that hasn't happened unless unless uh he did a 24.7 with fan boost and that
00:40:10lap wasn't his lap but that's what he's getting confused with it's definitely possible well again
00:40:15wear me on track with the costa here is trying to make this move on height held a bit of a dummy I thought
00:40:22he was going to go for it there process lead up the way by the way he says seven seven seconds he's
00:40:26setting them up jack this is about to try and make the big move the cost is going to try is he close
00:40:30enough to pull out and pass on the inside not close enough I'm making my car wide again
00:40:36quite close enough this is as it stands Buemi would win the championship having set the fastest lap
00:40:45and if this is your first taste of Formula E it's not usually this confusing I promise you it's not
00:40:52where there's bunkers but it's not quite this confusing exactly uh so we think Degrassi so whichever
00:41:00Buemi or Degrassi whoever does the fastest lap will win the championship that's the end of the story
00:41:05unless the stewards intervene exactly which is a distinct possibility and there's my uh Buemi will not be
00:41:13sending him a Christmas card I would say no absolutely not look at the cost they're really
00:41:16trying to get past Nick Heidfeldt get into fourth position as they swing their way through the
00:41:21chicanes now coming down to turn eight he's going to try and set him up again here set him up be close
00:41:27through here and here we go on board with Buemi again faster through sector two a 15 three not a bad
00:41:32first sector he's pushing he's going to push through that sector three oh big lockup from DaCosta
00:41:37just about gets it stopped and now he's still battling with Nick Heidfeldt in that a white black
00:41:44and red Mahindra over fourth position here comes where me across the line 26-0 it is set right now
00:41:51fastest lap and it's a 24-5 that's going to be close to unbeatable okay okay Seb and he's just going
00:41:59okay guys beat that yeah that is uh that is a very difficult lap time to beat a mid one minute 24
00:42:10that's strong yeah you see the cost like get still put the pressure on just trying to get by Nick Heidfeldt
00:42:16looking for a chink in the armor there just is there any kind of gap and the dragon cars behind the two
00:42:21red tracking cars are unbelievably close to each other too lap 24 of 33 here in FIA Formula E the season
00:42:29finale in Battersea Park in London and uh what a spectacle we are being treated to big lock up the two
00:42:36dragons are they going to hit each other no Duval just got it stopped not for the first time this
00:42:42season the two of them almost come together that first race in China they had that fighty moment
00:42:48together 10 laps to go lap 24 of 33
00:42:59at the moment Nico Prost leads eight seconds clear of Daniel Apt in second place that would mean
00:43:04that Renault would wrap up the team's championship Vernon third Hydefeldt four and as it stands
00:43:10Sebastian Buemi would get two points for setting the fastest lap of the race which would mean he
00:43:15would wrap up the drivers championship Degrassi just did a 24.9 four tenths of a second slower
00:43:21not quick enough for Lucas Degrassi super slow-mo coming up look at this completely misses the
00:43:29chicane and off he goes now watch the watch the pop of smoke out the back of the car that's just the
00:43:35car grounding out on on that curve and taking off a little bit now it would appear that Hydefeldt has
00:43:42managed to pull away just a little bit yeah from Da Costa and the users have got the same amount of
00:43:48usable energy remaining as well 60 percent for Hydefeldt and for Antonio Felix Da Costa so uh that battle
00:43:55seems to have calmed down just a little bit John Eric Verne now 1.3 seconds behind Daniel Apt so Apt
00:44:01looks fairly comfortable in that third position and they've really dropped that group for up to
00:44:08eighth place there with Duval they've really dropped off Nelson Piquet off the back of that group
00:44:12yeah substantially there Oliver Turvey his teammate is still hanging on in sixth place which is really
00:44:17a good performance obviously qualified today P4 Turvey's having a stonking weekend yeah he really is
00:44:22he really is he probably he should have a podium by right now and there's the Aguri garage Mark
00:44:28Preston watching on there Sebastian Buemi just sat in the pit lane keeping his powder dry in case
00:44:36his in case his uh his nemesis at this point that man there Lucas Degrassi beats his fastest lap but
00:44:44he's coming into the pit so Buemi as it stands two points clear of Lucas Degrassi because he has set
00:44:50the fastest lap of the race Nico Prost would finish third in the standings with Sam Bird in fourth
00:44:56race leader Nico Prost through the final corner once more two days now Prost has just disappeared up
00:45:03the road supreme performance you know and he's just so calm about the whole thing there just looking at
00:45:09that performance just driving away nothing hurried and making it look easy but it is anything but easy what
00:45:16he's doing there Daniel Ave P2 Sean Eric Burner and the DS Virgin car P3 and then Heifeld's got a bit of a
00:45:21train behind him but he's gapped it again I wonder if he was saving a little bit of energy just to give
00:45:26him a bit of a cushion and now he's getting after it Bruno Senna gets rid of a tear off and uh well
00:45:33Piquet's in trouble here because Piquet has lost out to Senna and now oh they're going to go side by side
00:45:37just keeps it out of the wall Nelson Piquet oh and here comes Mike Conway all crossed up nearly
00:45:42cruising into the back of his teammate but Piquet must be running into some dramas here because he's
00:45:46suddenly dropping back down the field like a stone yeah and he's got 52 percent left in the
00:45:51energy so I don't know I don't know what's going on there if they've had an issue but the result is
00:45:57backwards he goes that 26 of 33 eight laps remaining here we go again and they passed somebody there Jack
00:46:04there's definitely something wrong Piquet's out in the dirt and on the bad side of the camper
00:46:09they're thinking uh-oh here comes the wall and then here comes Conway all uh locked up like a Bromley
00:46:14boy racer yeah on the on the crown of the road too he's but I bet he had his eyes closed and there's
00:46:18the dragon boys again running nose to tail at 26 of 33 and uh it's all starting to calm down a little bit
00:46:28in that Hyde felt across the turvy battle they're just starting to
00:46:34pull a little bit away from one another we've got seven laps to go now and Nico Prost
00:46:40comes across the line 7.8 seconds clear of Daniel App then it's John Eric Verne in third position
00:46:46for DS Virgin fourth there coming towards us is Nick Hyde felt for Mahindra up in front of Antonio
00:46:50Felix D'Agosta for Team Aguri then it is the next EV car of Oliver Turvey then the two dragon cars of
00:46:56D'Ambrosio and Duval and here comes Degrassi leaving the pits again and what's his usable energy uh we'll
00:47:04see it i think when he comes out onto the pits and uh all he's got to do is set the fastest lap and then
00:47:09he wins the championship is that all well he's just sitting there he's going to keep an eye on that
00:47:13they'll probably send him back out with a couple of laps to go here he's come out behind marching
00:47:17oh god yeah mine's actually just got a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit lane
00:47:22yeah so uh that's kind of ironic really but yeah i would say Bwemi's going to go out and cover
00:47:29in a second here as Nico Prost goes serenely about his way bouncing over these these curbs at
00:47:36the track here in Battersea just getting on with it like i said so through the millennium chicane comes
00:47:44Nico Prost just like yesterday driving off up the road you know and there's no there's no nothing
00:47:50to be gained by you know they're not losing any weight the fuel burning off there's no tire degradation
00:47:55it's just getting out there and they've timed it so Bwemi comes out behind yeah coming out behind
00:47:59Prost yeah just get out there and go as hard as you can these guys don't have to worry about usable energy
00:48:05they just they just get after it and go hard i wonder if they're going to try and do some kind of
00:48:10slip streaming i don't i don't think he needs to i think he's got the performance in the car
00:48:15i think it's only it's probably the biggest gap on the track right now he's 8.3 seconds
00:48:18Nico Prost ahead of Daniel Lab and so he's probably just going to gap him a bit and then get after
00:48:23Nico Prost last lap 27-0 you would say that Sebastian Bwemi has to go about three seconds a lot quicker than
00:48:30that to put this out of reach of yeah Lucas Degrassi absolutely that's absolutely the case so uh now we're
00:48:36seeing Bwemi slow down get a little bit of a gap to Nico Prost in front of him and then he will start
00:48:42to push once more to try and get that fastest lap if you get the fastest lap you get an extra two points
00:48:48and that will basically give you the championship here comes Degrassi through the left-hander out of
00:48:54the last corner here and the timeline on the race is here different than and there's Degrassi he's got fan
00:49:01boost and he's used fan boost before the line yeah before the line to build his top speed up
00:49:07interesting so he's a smart boy very interesting stuff here he comes oh he's locked up he's missed the
00:49:13corner oh just about got it in there let's see what he's got in the first sector Lucas Degrassi
00:49:19it is a uh just trying to find his lap time one second of 15-4 no nowhere near

00:49:55he's made it through i think it was nelson pique who's clearly in trouble so he managed to make that

00:50:05usable energy what it is very strange he's now dropped back past both of the dragon cars uh incident
00:50:11between Degrassi and Buemi will be investigated by the stewards after the race
00:50:16duh yeah really we've got five laps to go here in Baxi park where's Guemi now philip pack asks oh you
00:50:23got 30.8 middle section oh it is the middle sector of anyone yeah he's just trying to put it out of
00:50:28reach here this is bruno senna trying to go past oliver turbo easily going past oliver turbo so both
00:50:34next ev cars running into trouble after having had good pace earlier on temperature and pulls out and
00:50:39goes through well maybe but it's not that warm no it's definitely not warm i don't know maybe it's
00:50:45leaves from the trees have blocked the rad inlets or something who knows let's see what we can do
00:50:49here he's coming up to the end of the lap look at that around the outside of one yeah fantastic

00:51:04to set the fastest lap that's irrelevant of whether you're classified or not so these guys can just
00:51:09uh do it how they are now degrassi is on the lap and he's purple in sector one degrassi fastest

00:51:23fastest middle sector of anyone for lucas degrassi is he about to lay the corner down look up on the right
00:51:28front gets it in nevertheless is this going to be the lap look that wins the championship for lucas
00:51:34degrassi look how close to that wall he is onto the brakes or a little bit of a lockup gets it in
00:51:44one more corner after this and it's a tricky one there's a huge undulations on the brakes on here
00:51:48just watch the car bounce on the brakes into the final turn at chelsea gate and out towards the line
00:51:54surely this is going to be the fastest lap of the race from lucas degrassi which would give him
00:51:59two championship points across the line 24.6 it's not it's two tenths slower the final sector was not
00:52:07hooked up didn't see that coming the boy me is he's five seconds off because it we are out of soc
00:52:14it's out of something what did he say well there was a lockup coming into turn eight but he still
00:52:22did the fastest middle sector of anyone oh is this going to come down to 500th of a second
00:52:31unbelievable when he's just cruising well he's heard they'll have heard degrassi say it's over
00:52:37he's cruising before that so meanwhile i look at the costa right back on the back of nick heidfeld in the
00:52:41battle for fourth place mike conway's got past his teammate stefan sarazan conway's up into ninth

00:53:29inside hey that mahindra goes in a straight line doesn't it they're basically using a similar
00:53:36power train to each other first first segment yeah i mean so we'll keep an eye out on his sector times
00:53:41but here comes antonio felix to costa is he going to be close enough coming through the long left-hander
00:53:45at rosary gate he's not heidfeld late on the brakes the costa takes much more speed into the corner
00:53:52you know the the car to costa's driving the second car and picture there's last year's technology
00:53:57buemi has done the fastest sector two as well so he's on a cracking lap here and he's getting held
00:54:02up though there's traffic in front of him and the yellow flag i just thought oh there's a green so who
00:54:08and when he goes around the outside and goes oh it's conway he just got past his teammate and up in
00:54:13ninth place and now it looks like he's running into trouble so at the moment five hundredths of a
00:54:18second are separating the two drivers and is buemi as digressi going to get out for one more run
00:54:26here we go what's this lap going to be across the line comes sebastian buemi is it going to be
00:54:30even faster 24.5 is it to be yes 24.150 great and that's it it's over digressi get out of the car
00:54:40is that the championship over for lucas digressi well i can't nobody can go quicker anyway because

00:54:56out and if that happened 10 seconds later he'd have had to back off meanwhile his team leader his

00:55:18this one across the line comes nico prost to start the final lap second at the moment i thought it was
00:55:24marching choir for a moment but then this race hasn't got that crazy second place is daniel app there

00:55:37heidfeld and da costa surely surely some of these are going to go straight to lunge town conway's got
00:55:42going again so why is the yellow still out but he's a lap down i don't know why the yellow's still out that
00:55:47turned 12. no debris and the dragon guys are still together these two are going to be teammates next
00:55:55year at dragon so they don't want to fall out right at the end of the season and they get on well
00:55:59yeah but they do like to give each other a hard time there's the conversation in the renault garage

00:56:14what will be confirmed when cross cross crosses the line is that renault will win the team's
00:56:20championship down towards the final corner comes nico prost he has been dominant today
00:56:26he was dominant yesterday took victory around battersea park and in the final race here in this
00:56:32park in london nico prost come towards the final corner he was helped because the championship
00:56:37protagonists whacked into each other at the start of the race and he's looking in his mirror he's gonna
00:56:42have to look a lot longer than that the checkered flag falls frost wins
00:56:48renault the champions so verne is out of energy verne has hit 0% so he is not going to get that third
00:56:56place i think that'll go to nick heidfeld but sebastian bohemi in the pits

00:58:19a lot of pressure he's had everybody telling him that he's got the best car this is his championship
00:58:24to lose and now finally the champion of 2015-16 sebastian bohemi you want to see what it means to him
00:58:32one year ago he missed out on the championship by one point two weeks ago he missed out on winning
00:58:37le mans by two laps now he's the formula e champion he's going into the uh the equipment store there
00:58:46uh good for him that that is what it means guys and that i mean that to every member of that reno e
00:58:52dams team on the other side we will see what it means to lucas de grassy to miss out today
00:58:58and it'll be interesting nick he's got a hard job talking to these guys to discover what actually

01:00:32and the others were and in your view what did really happen at the start you know with that incident well
01:00:37it's very simple i stayed flat for for a long time because i knew he would give it a go you know i would
01:00:44he would try to to to do something crazy so i stayed flat as as late as i could and then clearly i saw in
01:00:50the mirror he he he started to break properly and then he really went for the accident so you're very
01:00:57lucky to have finished as the new fia formulary world champion thank you go and join the celebrations
01:01:04hugs all around but whereby degrassi has been summoned to the stewards straight away and and it
01:01:14in some ways dario i'm not you know i'm not biased in any way
01:01:23i didn't quite hear that but in some ways it's better it's happened this way because if degrassi had set
01:01:28fastest lap we'd be here saying the grass is the champion but who knows what's going to happen
01:01:35with the stewards who's what's going to happen here what's going to happen there at least this way we
01:01:39know now who emmy is the champion the stewards aren't going to penalize absolutely you know the worst thing
01:01:45if degrassi had got the fastest lap they could have we could have been going to a student inquiry to
01:01:50be decided on tuesday no i'm busy on tuesday these guys and all the fans watching on tv and everybody

01:03:39middle seb took a bad start but i don't know he was 100 kilometers too quick and just destroyed seb
01:03:45so i don't know usually he's like the fairest guy in the paddock but i think he lost his mind
01:03:50but from that point onwards you didn't really look back did you well i was a bit bored with all
01:03:54these safety cars because every time i was pulling away but uh yeah i mean the car was so good this
01:03:59weekend that's in the end it turned out to be good and dare i say oh we'll leave them to celebrate
01:04:24so there is jerome d'ambrosio who's going to be on the podium after all of that because
01:04:28heidfeldt verne and da costa all used too much uh energy and as a result have had a drive-through
01:04:35penalty given and so that means that jerome d'ambrosio ends up third nothing would surprise me today
01:04:41you know i have to say that it just shows how close though everybody's running the usable energy
01:04:45now it used to be a finish to race three four percent yeah maybe more now it's one you see it one going
01:04:51to zero just after the finish line it seems everybody now has got software that gets them not
01:04:56everybody but most have got software that gets them closer to the absolute limit did you see
01:05:00daniel abt congratulate sebastian boemi there and where he just kind of shook his hand and
01:05:04i don't know if he's forgiven him for yesterday yeah no absolutely well they're making their way to

01:05:21deny it gave us some drama and it gave us a bit of entertainment as i say we would rather have seen
